firstly thanks to cofty & smiddy for the kind words on my " final post" .

this post is simply to say over two months have passed since my last post and since then i have with my wife and son seen elton john live, visited stockholm, berlin, and most importantly appreciated " the natural beauty of my neighbourhood" with out even thinking about the watchtower.

i have also attended 3 watford football matches with my son and made better relationships with my parents, discovered harvey's draught beer and made new friends in my local pub.

That is good news to hear The Rebel , the fact that you ,your wife and son are all in a good place enjoying a normal happy life together doing things as a family that you all want to do ,not something that is imposed upon you by a mind control group doing what they want you to do.

I can relate to you enjoying watching a football game with your son , enjoying a beer or 2 or 3 or more (heaven)

As another poster often says " A successful life outside JWism is the best answer to them " or something like that.

And making a better relationship with your parents is a great outcome also.

JWs take a page out of the Trinitarian playbook to support the generation of 1914

back in the "good old days", i would look for people in my territory, especially ministers in order to debate the trinity with them.

it was my pet subject that i had spent many hours over several years researching.

i was such a good anti-trinity apologist that i was actually disappointed with the trinity brochure when it came out.

It is dishonest for them to say the word was "a" god that is not what the original text says in their KI.

it occurred to me the other day...the society is loading us up on all types of ways to reach others....jw.org, all types of literature, all types of different ideas, maybe you could use the tools jehovah gave us this way or perhaps you can use it that way, maybe you can volunteer, maybe you can go where the need is greater, maybe you can give more $$$, maybe you can give more time, maybe you can look at how you can be in the ministry more, maybe you can meditate more, maybe you can do this or that for your family study, maybe you can talk to a seasoned witness & find out how they.....& i know there are tons of other things maybe we can do....or yes, forgot this one, maybe you can quit your job....then maybe you can get some rest, because you can't serve jehovah when you are tired.

how can you get more rest if, you don't have no money to live indoors...anyway, with all these maybe's we can do..... it came to my mind that the gb isn't here as of yet & it seems the org.

is pressing the friends for bible studies...they are saying....we are giving you all these tools & so why are you not getting bible studies or return visits...it's almost as if they are brow-beating us...do more because the society has given you more...it's not us, folks just ain't listening to us at the door any more....they are not even opening up the door.

A Believer , just how successful are JW`s preaching in mainland China ,and I`m not just talking about pockets of main cities here , and the same in these other countrys I name .

Indonesia , Jordan ,Iran ,Quatar , India ,Pakistan , Syria ,Turkey , Israel , Palestine , Just to name a few .

The only success JW`s have had is poaching off what Christendom has already accomplished in converting these people with their missionarys of long ago.

Over 100 years of " witnessing" and they have made no inroads to speak of in Muslim countries , that also have a basis for belief in the old Testament Bible.

Islam has a foundation in the Bible similar to Jews and Christianity , yet Jehovahs Witnesses have made little progress in either of these faiths ,Muslims and Jews in over 100 years of witnessing.

And that failure to make any inroads while Jesus Christ is directing his earthly congregations since being enthroned in his kingdom since 1914-1919

What will humans look like in 1000000 years?

ok, the bible is a fascinating book of fairy tales, so we move on..e. zolfagharifard, some guy states "humans will be very different creatures in just 1000 years from now due to climate change,artificial intelligence and genetic mutations are all set to transform our bodies in drastic ways.

a mixture of biology and machine on the inside.

this is only 1000 years from now, what the hell will humans look like in 100000 years????

Do You Remember When JWs Relished Explaining Their Beliefs?

i bet most witnesses could not explain their blood policy, their understanding of the slave, and even simple biblical doctrines....they are an embarrassment to any old timer..

A Believer do you have access to the " Kingdom Interlinear of The Christian Greek Scriptures" a word for word translation published by the WTB&TS ? from greek to English ?

If not seek one out , nowhere in the Greek text translated into English is the Tetragrammaton or an equivalent four Greek letters substituting for the Divine name.

So what that should tell you quite plainly is that the name Jehovah or even Yahweh does not belong in the Christian greek Scriptures /New Testament.

Also the first edition of the book" Aid To Bible Understanding" admitted that the name Jehovah was not the proper name for God , that it was probably more likely Yahweh .

The reason they gave for setling on the name Jehovah was because it was the most popular name in use at that time

So , on the one hand they say that christendom tries to hide the name and on the other hand they say it was the most popular name in use in Christendom ? Which is it ?

Also Catholic Bibles such as the Knox Translation consistently use the name Yahweh throughout the Old Testament and not just in a few texts.

Update on my fade.

hi folks, i have not commented for awhile but i do stop by a few times a week to catch up and see whats new.

i also find the advice given to others is at times helpful to me also...now about my fade no meetings, service or any contact in over 3 months but they keep trying to call and at first they would leave a message on my voicemail but now they just keep hanging up and i know its them (i screen all of my calls).

recently they stopped by (in the evening) and buzzed me and thankfully no one let them in, i live in a locked secure building.

Hang in their buddy the longer the fade the easier it gets for you to mentally disassociate yourself from this mind controlling excuse of a religion.

How many times did you see a JW start a business

with the intention of spending less time working and more time in f.s i saw this many times.

an ex c.o started a carpet cleaning business with the charter being spending less time working more time in f.s.

he has long since passed away and the company is now huge being the major player in flood resteration and employing 100's of people one of the owners i spoke to recently was sick due to using to many chemicals but carries on becouse he loves the money even though he's worth millions.

A few brothers were in the building industry self employed as were a couple in the plastering and painting in the building game and all self employed .

Their was also a couple who ran a beauty salon specialising in hair removal using electrolosis that my wife believed was a bit of a con and she opted out of it.

A brother Elder was also in the cabinet making business self employed and hired young bros, including my son which I was grateful for at the time when he left school.

I think this was an exceptional area in S.E.Qland where a lot of the bros.were in one way or another connected to the building industry.

We have noticed that their is a delay when picking up the phone and answering it then a person speaks with a heavy accent that is when we put the phone down.

Showing Kindness To Strangers

i feel pretty foolish after reading the drivel in today's wt.

here i was operating under the impression that showing kindness to strangers was something that one did unselfishly.

Do you notice that the WT actually have to tell people to be welcoming and loving even when it is to their own KH ?

As scratchme1010 said, what does that tell you about the mentality of these people ?

The JW religion sucks the natural affection / the soul out of their members.and they become robots obeying every dictate that comes from JW.ORG losing all their individuality that Jehovah gave them with a brain they were supposed to use for themselves.
