  I cant believe Kim Jong -un is the total dictactor of North Korea he is made out to be.

  Seriously ? , none of his Generals , Advisors ,those that are close to his personal safety just go along with whatever he says or is about to do ? and they all agree and do whatever he says ? without question ?

  I dont think so .he will be reigned in just like any other leader of any nation , its just that dictators have a far more leeway than western leaders

  Do you honestly think his Advisers ,Generals ,etc are not aware of the consequences that North Korea would suffer if it all came to shit ?

  This crises will subside like all other crises do .

  RUMOUR - Regarding future memorials

  i heard this on the youtube channel - bad jw round table discussions and i normally don't give much thought to rumours, i did find this one interesting.one of the guys on the channel said that there are plans that 'the other sheep' will be told not to attend any future memorials.he was asked how credible was this and he said that it is talk going around by those in the know, just like there had been those that knew about the fairly recent new edition of the bible being in production.even if this is probably just a rumour, the idea has a lot of merit.

  the benefits for the organization outweigh the negatives and would fit in with their current direction.here are some of the benefits, for the org.

  that could come from it- the biggest benefit would come from not having to accommodate so many attendants, which are more than double a normal meeting.

  While Jehovahs witnesses like to highlight how many people attend the Memorial celebration ,what , something like 3 times the number of active JW`s ? worldwide ,the fact is the majority of those attending are sub-mariners they only come up once or twice a year ,probably 3 times at most. And that is not a good look for the GB.

  These people are JW`s in name only

  JW`s are no better than those in christendom who only attend Xmas , Easter celebrations .and are christian in name only.

  Because of this reason I could see a change in the way the memorial is conducted .maybe they could have a video link of those "annointed" around the world who partake and the rest of JW`s around the world can observe it watching on a video stream on JW.Org from their own homes .

  It wouldnt have to be visualised ,maybe audio /visual coverage even over a couple of days seeing the different time zones around the world.

  And they can still blow their own trumpet by saying how many tuned in to JW.Org on memorial night.and how many partakers their were if they so desired .

  i just recently stopped attending.

  i keep getting messages, emails, texts and voice mails asking if i'm ok. they all say the exact same thing.

  it's creepy and a bit scary.

  i have little doubt articles of impeachment will be drawn up on trump within the next year or so.

  my only question at this point is what are they going to get him for?.

  collusion with a foreign government to subvert an election?.

  As an Aussie ,I dont quite know what to make of Donald trump .He`s different thats for sure .He is not your usual politician ,he is primarily a business man with varying degrees of success if my sources are correct, with no previous experience in politics.

  The reality is he is the duly elected president of the United States of America so surely he should be given the opportunity to prove his worth or not.

  Because his approach is so unorthodox doesnt necessarily mean he is not up for the job and hopefully he isnt.

  However time will tell

  one-day circuit assemblies…no more “special assembly day”--it was a sad occasion anyways.

  Occasionally, the baptismal talk is given, but nobody gets dunked. That must be embarrassing for Watchtower and create some cognitive dissociate for those attending.

  Surely that is not the case nowadays is it ?

  How insane would that be give a 30 min.talk on Baptism and no baptismal candidates are their ?

  Why would they even do that ?

  
  These no-show baptism candidates at these large venues are a constant reminder to the JW community that there is something terribly wrong in this 'Spiritual Paradise' today!

  That is the only consolation I can find .Maybe the penny will drop on those that can see the stupidity of this organisation having a Baptism talk when their are no baptismal candidates.

  hello.

  i was wondering if someone could tell me where i might find the example of a young jw standing in front of the class to (boldly) defend creation vs. evolution.. i would like to contrast it with the example from the "bible teach" book about the student challenging the teacher,.

  i believe there was an illustration of a young boy standing up in the classroom for his "beliefs".. thanks..

  my wife's mother has alzheimer.

  I think the Governments everywhere would be very interested in just how many Jehovahs Witnesses were dependent on social welfare .I personally knew quite a few who were on one welfare or another in the many congregations I was in over 33 years.

  Some even pioneering while on welfare with no intention of ever finding employment.

  They condemn the govts. as Satans tools yet have no qualms about sponging of the same govts.on social welfare.

  I think they rationalise it by calling it "theocratic warfare "

  OUTLAW ,its ironic isnt it that the R.C.Church is sticking up FOR the JW`s over the ban? Given the history of JW`s STICKING IT UP the Catholic church the past 100 years.

  Thanks for that Barbara , of course they are looking out for their own interests , however I could never see the JW`s giving any support to the R.C.Church under any circumstances.

  Hang on , I never thought they would ever be a part of the UN organization either ,or giving support in a law court to a Tele-evangelist organization either. , or the double standards that existed in Malawi and Mexico ,hell I better stop their in case I stumble some still in brother or sister.
