  How serious is sexting

  some of y'all may know why i am asking this, but i am curious about it.. sexting in the elders book says it's enough to warrant a jc but it's very loose at it... what's y'all opinion?

  do elders care alot of it?

  what if it's an old case?

  Young children pre-teens have access to mobile phones nowadys with the approval of their parents many of whom would not monitor what their children use it for .

  Keeping in mind the society we live in today children are subject to sexually explicit material on TV ,videos,movies etc especially if the parents are lax in supervising what children can watch.

  And children being who they are will find ways to pull the wool over the eyes of their parents being inquisitive about sex.especially if their peers have freedom to view such content.

  So YES ,I think sexting in this sense is a very serious problem that many young people are involved in.

  The next step is to send photos using your phone of nude or more explicit poses to your boy or girl friend that teenage youths are becoming more prevalent causing all manner of problems for our youth today.And of course this is a serious problem especially when one partner puts pressure on the other to do something out of fear of having it shown to family or friends. (blackmail)

  In this case it should be a crime.

  In reference to your OP ,that sounds like a meal fit for a Queen.What a great grandson.

  However grits ? mush ? nixtamalization sounds like something we used to cull a plague of rabbits years ago.

  And that process CoCo seems like something to be avoided not eaten.

  new information may provide us with a valid reason to adjust a decision. King David was given faulty information about Saul’s grandson Mephibosheth. When David later received accurate information, he amended his decision.

  So prior to our Baptism x amount of years ago the information we recieved then is no longer applicable so we now have a valid reason to adjust our decision because we recieved faulty information and we have amended our decision .

  i'm not referring to how we spend our time now that we actually have some, but who we have become, or working to be?.

  the gb carries on and on about "stripping off the old personality and putting on the new one.

  From my experience of 33 years in the Borg as a convert in more than 6 congregations ,I didnt observe anyone striving to put on a new Personality Looking back on it now ,I dont think anybody took that scripture seriously .

  As a group of people they were no different from any other worldly class of people with their own idiosyncrasys,judgemental ,self righteous sometimes arrogant ,know it all,obnoxious behaviour .

  Of course not everybody was like me.their were a few and I emphasize "few" who were genuinely nice helpful people.They were a rarity.

  I wasnt thinking of any specific Australian Law about clergy or Citizens being mandated to report allegations of any crime .

  Where did I say that ?

  What I was inferring to is that according to the ARC the Elders at this enquiry had an" obligation" both morally and legally to report these 1006 cases of alleged child sexual abuse that the judicial committees oversaw in those previous decades

  Not only did they fail the victims in the congregation they also failed every other child in that congregation where the abuse occured.by not warning the families of the potential danger to their children.

  And the other thing that was brought out in the ARC was the fact that these Elders had no regard for the children in the general community where the Kingdom Hall was situated , non Jehovahs Witness children ,apparently they had no regard for whether these children would be subjected to sexual abuse because they are not jehovahs witnesses and and not our responsability.

  So the general community around a Kingdom Hall where sexual abuse occured was not informed of the potential danger to their children by any of the Elders.

  The Governing Body of Jehovahs Witnesses have not only failed their own children in their care they have also failed the children in the wider community and their familys.

  magazine that they received from the witness.

  the magazine is entitled, "is the bible really from god?

  And then their is this.

  1.The Bible contains prophecies about the future

  2.All of the prophecies contained in the Bible about the future have proved to be innaccurate .

  3.Therefore the Bible was not inspired by God

  maybe i have watched too many zombie movies but i would sleep with one eye open, inquire to see what is your favored menu,do you sleep walk, are your body parts functioning properly (i would hate to shake your hand and it fall off).

  your wife never married after 10 years and now you are back, can you perform in the marriage bed?

  ?it would be hard for me to sleep at nights with someone that have been dead for over one year sleeping next to me.

  There are a few sites you can go to that show crime among Active Jehovahs Witnesses is no less than the average community and may even be greater .

  Google "Crimes committed by Jehovahs Witnesses" and their are a number of sites showing the extent of crimes worldwide where JW`s have been charged and convicted .

  And the lists are extensive.from murder to petty crimes as well as pedophiles ,robberies ,extortion ,domestic violence ,etc,etc.

  And if you bring this subject up with a JW and they say well if they did do these things then they wernt really a JW .

  Your answer should be so I guess their are no Catholics in jail either because if they were true catholics they wouldnt do those things.

  Doesnt saudi have public executions for "crimes" such as atheism,Apostacy,Adultery,and if a woman is raped she is the one victimised ?

  And that women are second class citizens ,needing a mans OK to venture out ,arent permitted to drive a car ,and need a chaperone for being in the presence of another man who is not a relative ? etc,etc,

  I know the generation that is mid-twenties and they are far different in viewpoint about a lot of things from the next generation.

  That might be well and true ,but it is the ruling power that holds the key and they arent going to give that up any time soon.

  So saudi`s remain in the distant past except where it suits the wealthy male saudis to bend the rules when they are outside of their country. (Alcohol ,women,gambling ,prostitution etc )

  feel free to correct me where I`m wrong.

  The Saudis are now on the UN council for womens human rights !?

  A few queastions I would like to ask.

  Were these allegations of child sexual abuse brought before the congregation at the time or after the alleged offences occured ? And before the Australian Royal Commission was conducted ?

  If so ,did the judicial committee look into these allegations and come to a decision on the investigation ?

  If the congregation was aware of these allegations at any time , did they notify either the police or child Protection Authorities of these allegations ?

  And last but not least : If their was a JC into these allegations and the at least three Elders concerned did not notify the appropiate authorities about these abuses ,why arent they being charged with some offence failing to protect children under their care.,withholding a criminal offence against a minor,obstructing justice or something .

  Jehovahs Witnesses have a history of failing sexually abused children in their congregations all around the world and all Governments seem to sidestep the problem and dont tackle the cause of the problem,the policys that govern child sexual abuse among Jehovahs Witnesses and the way they deal with such allegations .
