this weekend thousands of people are gathering at the scheels arena in celebration of their faith.. jehovah's witnesses from around the world are assembling for the "don't give up" convention.. .

the morning starts with a music presentation and then continues on through the day with prayer, song, and speeches.. the theme centers around supporting each other and including everyone in the good will.. everyone is invited and all questions regarding jehovah's witnesses are welcome.. really?

Providing their are not questions from anybody who was once associated with Jehovahs Witnesses ,especially anyone who was disfellowshipped or faded or is designated by us as an apostate.

Anybody else who is unfamiliar with the teachings of JW`s , has low self esteem ,and is vulnerable ,maybe not the full quid ,and anybody else who are of low intelligence ,we the Governing Body welcome your questions .

Just make sure you answer the question you ask is the answer we provided for you .

Spiritual Junk Food?

we all know how the society likes to say that they alone "dispense spiritual food from jehovah" through the f&ds / gb.

the claim was that from russell's day, the society alone is gods channel.... so that got me thinking.... if they dispense spiritual food, yes spiritual nourishment to all witnesses, that clearly implies that all the past wrong teachings, and incorrect doctrines and practices must not have been "nourishing spiritual food" right?.

in effect, they were just like parents that order a fast food drive through "meal" to keep the kids happy and fill the hole in their tummy.. yes, rather than providing a well prepared and healthy nourishing meal, a quick-fix junk food fill was sufficient.

Do they still say that the older publications were "old truths " and now we have "new truths " to try and rationalise failed prophecys or disbanded beliefs ?

It never ceases to amaze me how the creator of all things including Gold , Silver , Diamonds ,other precious gems , etc, never himself provides any of this wealth ,however he is not backward in coming forward asking through his one and only true religion on earth for jehovahs Witnesses the rank and file , to give up their hard earned money to support his earthly organizations accumilation of wealth

How about hitting them with "Jehovahs witnesses base their beliefs solely on the Bible" ?

Where in the bible are : [ you should be able to fill this in with so many rules and regulations ,non Bible definitions such as D2D work RV ,BS ,especially the change in the baptism and your conviction of it ,Pioneers ,Co`s,Do`s,,Etc,etc,etc.

and you know the list just goes on and on. Where are all these in the Bible ?

The simple answer is their not . Where is the True Organization mentioned in the bible.?

how about soveriegnty of jehovah god ,where is that mentioned in the Bible .?

what about reinstatement ? for someone who makes a mistake and is then trying to get back in favour ? with the congregation ? Think of the prodigal son and the very marked difference the JW`s have on this scripture.

Governing Body ? Where is that stated in the Bible ?

Do you think /believe Jehovahs Witness religion is based solely on the Bible after considering these points ?

She's here and early! 27 weeks 1day.

so as of july 2nd my wife delivered by c-section our little one pound, three ounce daughter izabella.

it was a very scary night that started with a decel and turned into multiple decels that greatly concerned the doctors.

by early morning they felt the need to take her for her safety.

It has surprised me why the established Christian religion under constantine didnt just discard the " Old Testament " as irrelevant to the christianity that was now emerging.

Thankfully he didnt however as we would have little ammo to show the hypocricy contained in the whole bible.

I dont think Russia is a good example of any Nation banning anyone....,period.

Its not exactly a free democratic nation with freedoms the west still enjoy. It has its "freedom" problems still.

Didnt Vin Toole under oath ( a JW himself , Legal representive ) state something to the effect that "shunning was something he has heard about but didnt know what it meant ?"

Under oath mind you at the ARC into Child sexual Abuse in Institutions.in Australia.

How do these lying S.O.B.`s get away with what they do under oath in a governmental inquiry sanctioned by the Government.?

Isnt it giving the finger up the ass of the government and getting off scot free ?

They should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

However religions seem to be given a get out of jail free card ,whereas "normal " citizens feel the full force of the law.

I met a 104 year old man today

i was at a mall trying on shoes and this old man is in a wheelchair near me.

says how he thought those shoes were sharp and he had never worn brown shoes before and that he is 104 years old.

i said no way and asked what year he was born.

According to JW teachings and their Bible interpretations ,the wages of sin is death ,right ? the Adamic death .OK?

Lazarus died he paid the price for Adams disobedience ,sin.

He was resurrected to life ,so by all accounts he should be free of the Adamic sin that condemned all of humanity to death so he should still be alive walking around among us right ?

And lazarus wasnt the only one resurrected was he according to the Bible.
