Jehovahs Witnesses and Babylon The Great.Why the Emphasis on the R.C.Church and not on Islam.

i was thinking back to when the book babylon the great has fallen gods kingdom rules.was published many years ago when it was believed religion was declining in the world.. the book took exception to the r.c.church as the worst of christendom substituting themselves for the kingdom of god on earth , the counterfeit kingdom i think they called them.vicar of christ on earth.. and while its true to some degree in western lands today that religion is declining as regards christendom it is not happening in non christian religions around the world.. which brings me to the unprcedented rise and spread of islam in the world today .. with the war in iraq ,syria ,etc,and the people fleeing these war torn countries to europe and elsewhere around the globe with refugees and asylum seekers the spread of islam in the short space of time now beats any missionary projects conducted by christendom.. judaism ,christendom and islam all have their roots in the bible.the jews first then christians then muslims.. the bible only relates to the first two jews and christians and is completely silent about muslims.even in prophecy.. the book mentioned earlier btggkr nowhere mentions islam or muslims.as if they didnt even exist ,yet today they equal in numbers to all of christendoms religions.. islam today is by far a greater threat to christianity and especially to jehovahs witnesses than anything the roman catholic church ever posed before.. obviously the holy bible and the holy spirit or jehovahs chosen people the jehovahs witnesses never did forsee the rise and influence of the religion of islam in todays world.. the bible is completely silent about islam or the rise of muslims on the world stage.. could it be that they could no more predict the future than i could ?.

the wtb&ts the publishing house of jehovahs witnesses have for the past 100 years have continually attacked the roman catholic religion and portrayed them in an unfavourable light.time after time in mags and books,.

how many times have the wtb&ts attacked and challenged the religion of islam and muslims and condemned them as a principle member of babylon the great the empire of false religion.. to this day jehovahs witnesses cannot freely go door to door preaching their message in muslim dominated countries where proselytism is forbidden.

I personally think that is a very good reason why the partakers of the memorial are going up simply because many of the rank and file see that Armageddon is not coming anytime soon in their lifetime so they are hedging their bets and partaking of the wine and emblems at the Memorial celebration and hoping to rule in heaven if they die before Armageddon comes on earth.

Anyone recall someone disfellowshipped for gluttony???

gluttony seems to be a sin that jw's like to ignore .there are several scriptures that point out that gluttony is a sin, proverbs 23:20-21 "do not join those who gorge themselves on meat".....also i read somewhere that 1% is the number of disfellowshipped jw's each year......how do prove someone is a glutton and not just a person who love food???

The fact that you would need two witnesses to prove anybody is a glutton , I cant see that anybody would ever be DF or even counselled for that offence .

How or who decides who a glutton is ?

Who in the world today of 8 Billion people could you claim is a glutton ?

I wouldnt be able to point the finger at one individual in my circle of friends or associates past and present.

Then again if a group of Bros.& sisters go out for a meal together and one person over indulges themselves on the food provided not because he/she is a glutton but simply being overjoyed of the occasion if two people accuse them of being a glutton ,what defence could one bring on his behalf.

i am pimo but attended the r.c yesterday for family pressure reasons.

a "sister" i've not seen for a while told me her husband is overjoyed because a man he called on recently in the field service suddenly told him he wanted to attend the r.c.

the unusual thing is, this man is a millionaire having built a property portfolio.

Maybe he is just curious not knowing anything about JW`s beliefs.however attending a RC should set him straight that he has set foot into a cult environment.

Or maybe he is in early stages of dementia and just needs people around him.

Whatever his situation I feel sorry for him and wish I could have a conversation with him.

And now they are virtually adopting the same practice ? confessing your sins to Elders ?

The reason my husband did not take the brother to court was NOT because of "dirtying Jeh's name"... It was a scriptural reason: "do not take your brother to court".

However if any "brother" touches the WT/JW`s eyeball (really their pocket $$$$$ ) they will have you in court faster than you can say what ?

I have witnessed it in a congregation and I`m sure their are plenty of others who have seen this double standard applied .

When "you" are taken advantage of in any way by your fellow JW you are encouraged to just leave it in Jehovahs hands he will right it in his own due time.

When the GB is taken advantage of in any way "you" will be hauled before the courts in no time .

The GB/JW are very selective in how they apply the scriptures.

I`m sorry your husband never took advantage of the DA`s offer to prosecute.it may have prevented more people from becoming victims.

Its just a thought ,

We will never know.

my boyfriend is an ex new jehovah witness and today i got a message from one of his friends asking if i could delete a comment he wrote on one of my pictures because my boyfriends mom is harassing him about it.

he also basically told me that she has people who added me just to view my profile and let her know!!!!

she also sends him messages and pictures from the watchtower.

Your boyfriend needs to stand up to his mom and tell her to back off and if he`s not up to that drop him and this religious cult and find youself a new bf before you get in too deep because their is only pain and heartache their.

Spirit directed vs inspired

i've always been confused as to what the discrepancy is between the phrases "spirit directed/spirit led" and "inspired".

in the february 2017 watchtower study article, paragraph 12 says:.

The Governing Body members are masters of speaking out of both sides of their mouth with the sole purpose of confusing the rank and file into submitting to their leadership.

They purposely obfuscate their writings to their members so they can flip-flop between answers they give, any who have an inquiring mind and if any continue to question the GB they will be DF.

It`s a wake up call for you JS and any other lurkers reading this thread.

We have all been conned by their deceitful practices.

JW Kids Bullying My Daughter

trying not to type swearwords as i write this so bare with me.. my little 3yo attends meetings with her jw mum (who doesn't believe watchtower anymore but is stuck in because she relies on her family for help).

my mum (the one who tells people im dead) had a party for her grandchildren.

that's my 4 nieces and 1 nephew aged from 3yo-11yo.
