  K.A.M. & Snoozy These are just such "tragedies" Does the religion of JW`s contribute to the phsychotic state of vulnerable people? Or are we mentally defective in some way, to be influenced by the message of this religion in the first place. Or are we, or should I say were we, just so immature.   It`s certainly interesting to see how this pans out ,though I won`t hold my breath in expectation of any justice done here.

  I know it`s not of the same calibre, but the leaders in the USA were sentenced to prison almost 100 years ago,and what happened then,they went from strength to strength.

  Like you I will be watching with keen interest in these proceedings

  i know the poster lost generation made a fantastic thread on this july 15th apostate article, however - i noticed some very powerful points on pg.

  17 paragraphs 9 - 11 which weren't brought out that i feel needed to be touched on.

  as was brought out in his thread this article told jw's to avoid apostates because they are " mentally diseased " allegedly and to avoid their web sites, not read their literature, watch t.v.

  Jehovah`s Witnesses say the light gets brighter & brighter in this time of the end.Prov.4:18

  The bible says that Satan is more active than ever ,out to deceive everyone,knowing he has a short time left Rev.12:12

  When are the JW`s going to wake up to the fact tthat they are being lead up the garden path? By Satan?

  my local congregation has been in the news this week following a successful application for planning permission for a quick build.

  a local vicar objected because the application described it as a building for "christain worship".. .

  He does sound like a decent man who, like a lot of decent men and women have been hoodwinked by this religion

  How many of us check the obits for JW relatives' names?

  i have jw relatives who are getting on in years.

  the relationship is very strained - very little communication, and frankly i'm getting exasperated being the only one making any effort to maintain it.. several years ago, when a non-jw relative passed away, it took several days before the custodian of the information (a jw) decided to send me an email to inform me - you read that correctly - i was informed, not over the phone, but via email.

  a couple of years go by, and in the meantime, a jw sibling has a baby, and again i learn that i was left uninformed about the pregnancy and the birth until well after the fact.

  i would like some more enlightened beings than me to thrash this out.. to start the ball rolling with my small intellect.

  i was always taught from my jw days that nothing came from nothing,and i accepted that.. all of creation had a start,and reproduced itself according to it`s kind according to genesis.

  and of course we now know their are life forms that are a-sexual that reproduce.
