  Governing Body arrogance vs. Legal Department's pragmatism - do you think there will be a slip-up at some point?

  the recent & surprising developments in the uk and australia got me thinking..... the governing body of jehovah's witnesses is nothing if not arrogant.

  they consider themselves "god's channel of communication", stopping just short of claiming divine inspiration.

  they believe that they and they alone are the masters of "christ's belongings" and are answerable only to him.. the watchtower society's legal department carefully crafts gb decisions so as not to put the watchtower society's assets or prestige as risk.

  Kid reading COC

  my daughter is 80 pages into coc.. it will probably take a few visits to get through it.

  i let her know that it speaks of things before her time, but that i was 'in' back then and remember some of the things written about.. any heads up on what to expect from her?.

  hi everyone.

  as a parting gift to you all before i take a much needed break from this forum, i thought you would be pleased to know that the independent, a leading uk newspaper, will be publishing a piece on the "mentally diseased" watchtower article in tomorrow's edition.. i would like to thank everybody who has assisted the journalist, jerome taylor, in his investigation.. best wishes to all of you,.

  History & facts show NOBODY individuals or group,I.D.themselves as Jehovahs Witnesses b4 Judge Rutherford in the mid 1930`s

  no body or group in the hebrew sriptures ( o/t ) ever identified themselves as a jehovah`s witness.

  no body or group in the christian greek sriptures ( n t ) ever identified themselves as a jehovah`s witness.

  in fact the word" jehovah" never appeared before the 12th century.

  I know it`s a big ASK , just maybe if we hammered those scriptures home we may just make a dent in their armour.
