Aren't you a bit amazed that the WTS/JWS is still around ?

i know i am, to me its a bit of a peculiar anomaly that the wts is still around and functioning in reflection of its decades and now complete century that the wts has been bullshitting to people .

organizations like the church of god have shrunk dramatically from its heyday of the 1980's, this too was another organization that spread and grew by publishing its own magazine proclaiming a armageddon soon doctrine and its main publication was called " the truth " .

i'm guessing some of this has to do with the fact that people who get lured into this cult aren't aware of its past, its doctrines, the people who started it and so forth.

No i`m not because of the many reasons already noted about the WWCOG ,Adventism ,Mormons ,even the Berean Bible Institute Inc. that a then P.O told me in the early 1960`s that they were an offshoot of C.T Russell`s teachings with their HQ in Rosanna Vic.Australia they still advertise in the Readers Digest.( how true or not what he said I dont know)

E.G. : "Israel and the Middle East" "After Armageddon Gods Kingdom" Free booklet and DVD is offered .

The very fact that the JW leadership can re-write their own history and the R&F dont give a stuff doesnt say much for their integrity for the truth does it .

Atheism has appeared simply because no GOD has ever come out to defend himself/herself against unbelievers.

Their are over 40,000 christian sects that claim to believe in GOD/JESUS many of which claim to be the truth

Most of which contradict each other over doctrines and interpretations of what the scriptures actually say or mean.

Apart from that their are thousands of non Christian religions that promote myriads of GODS to their believers from all over the world.

And this is not something that has just sprung up in just this last Century it has been ongoing for many centuries past.Thousands of years.

Where has GOD been all this time ? Why has he/she not stepped in to defend itself ? against all this negativity agaist its existence ?

JW.Org claims they have fullfilled Jesus command to preach in all the inhabited earth.Have they really done that ? I dont think so.

apart from the fact that they have mainly followed in the footsteps of christendom before them what virgin territories have they ever gone to that christendom before them has not gone to .

i would think none.. how many lands ,countrys ,are their that they have never made any significant inroads into ?.

we are not talking about token service in any of these countrys in major cities , but a real door to door witness to every individual householder that gets it every few months as in western lands.. some that i can think of : north korea ,mainland china , bangladesh ,india , pakistan , jordan , israel , iran , syria ,burma ( sorry cant think of the new name ).

My wife and I ,our two sons and their wives have never attended a memmorial since 1993 or a congregation meeting either .

And none of us were ever DF

my boy is going to play for watford football club!

and whilst i didn't take his revelation to seriously, i am was glad his " goal" isn't to pioneer.

Thats good news ,I hope he is not baptised and goes on to better things in the football world Here in Australia Victoria ,we have a JW 23-5 year old not bapised playing for an AFL football team (professional level)

While they are not baptised they can fly under the radar once their baptised its a different story as you probably are well aware of.

I wish your son all the best for his future in football.

because i am still very much held a prisoner to past beliefs and practice, i dress in suit and tie and bring a briefcase on my frequent dates.. i talk business during the entire happy meal (macdonalds), displaying ad brochures and spreadsheets relative to whatever business plan i happen to be hawking that day.

i count the venture as a business expense and jws who frequent this fine diner know i am not on a date.

there are no smirks, no snickering, no knowing glances.

Any Muslim found committing an act of terrorism should be sent back to the land of his origin and his family should be sent back also..

If he or she is born in the country that they have committed an offence of terroism then they and their family should be returned to the country of the parents,

This is the only way to get through to parents and offspring that their are consequences for acts of terrorism committed in democratic lands. And that the parents need to control their children and make plain to them the cosequences of their actions.That they will ALL be evicted.
