  JW`s Lie about Christendom hiding the Name Jehovah.or its equivalent Yahweh

  jehovahs witnesses have been outspoken over the years/decades that christendom have been hiding or obscuring or even eliminating gods name jehovah from the general public.. how true is that statement .?.

  1. it was a catholic monk of the 13th century that first coined the name jehovah in the english language.. 2.the roman catholic douay version of the bible does have the name jehovah in it.

  about the 16th century.

  Doesnt that contradict their claim that Christendom hides the name from people ?

  And while they admit "Yahweh" is more the correct pronunciation of the tetragrammaton they omit YHWH as representing those four letters.

  They claim to be his people for his name but dont care if it is not the most likely correct pronunciation of his name.?

  The word for word translation of the Christian Greek Scriptures into English published by the WTB&TS The "Kingdom Interlinear" ,does not contain the tetragrammaton ,so the name Jehovah or Yahweh should not appear in the New World Translation of The Christian Greek Scriptures.published by the WTB&TS

  Shocking news

  i recently posted about what would happen if my mom got sick,seeing that i'm apostate.

  even today i posted on a thread about blood transfusions.. i just received a text from my brother saying that my mom is in hospital and requires a transfusion to survive....is this a coincidence?.

  am i being punished by jehovah, or is the devil out to get me...i dont know anymore what to do.... things are getting too much, guess i should not have joked so much in my posts..

  Think of it this way .The Jews were Gods chosen peoplefor the first 4000 years and the Jews never believed in a personal devil to my knowledge.

  The idea of a personal Devil was purely a figment of the imagination of christendom , foreign to Jewish thinking.

  And their is no conclusive evidence that an Almighty God exists either ,if he did you would think he / she would sort out the 40000 odd Christian sects that all claim to speak for him.

  no rival governments less freedom granted by existing ruler, just cogs in a huge fucking wheel would humans become.. no appealing to the masses of the benefits of their government and the horrors of the opposition.

  If you mean JW`s and their God /King ruled the earth as one Government for the next thousand years the human race would become extint ,

  Think about all the directions given over the years by JW`s and we would be living back before the stone age.had even begun.

  It could not be anything but a hell on earth ,no modern technology ,no higher education ,none of the benefits that mankind has received would be achieved such as Medical, scientific,Dentistry ,numerous health benefits , under a theocratic rule in the future.

  In the Old Testament when Theocratic Rule was reigning over Gods Chosen people and Jehovah was blessing them ,these facts still remained .

  Leprosy still existed in the land ,Why ?

  Wars were conducted under a theocracy and still Gods people were slain even when Jehovah blessed them as a nation.

  Slavery was condoned ,and women were treated as second class citizens to be exploited

  JW women shouldnt be expected to be treated much better than Muslim are women today

  Domestic violence ,physical abuse is not something I came across in my 33years as a JW .except for only one occasion by a MS against his wife.

  However mental abuse is another kettle of fish ,men putting their wives down in one form or another was not uncommon .

  Belittilling them for their weight ,was common and comparing them to TV women as being more alluring.

  And the funny thing about it was the guys for the most part looked a helluva lot worse than their wives.

  But because of JW culture the wives just endured it.

  your neighbor Bob(naked) passes in front of you and drops his apple. He bends over to pick it up but it keeps rolling away and he just cant seem to get it (all this in plain view). Now you see the moon also!

  I`m not sure about bob however if Roberta drops her apple and bends over that will be paradise regained if I can get close enough.

  Isnt this discriminatory ? only having JW`s and no other faiths ?that other faiths

  are exluded ? is that legal ?

  And dont they state that those who are accepted have to be JW`s in good standing in their respective congregations ? and if not they would be excluded ? Discrimination against their own believers ? Who decides ? and on what grounds ?

  { It wouldnt have to do with how much money they had to pay for the privelidge would it ?}

  Is that also legal ?

  Let's talk about Blood again....

  i know we have all talked about this topic before, but for some new ones on the forum, or to refresh ourselves, i wanted to start this thread.. the society likes to go on about the sacredness of blood, and how it should not be transfused etc.. they liken it to a symbol of life itself.

  something that should be respected and therefore not transfused.. but, what is more important: real life, or a symbol of life?.

  an illustration came to mind.. if we give a bunch of flowers to a loved one as a symbol of our love for them, are those flowers more important than the love itself?

  I think your illustration is spot on ,anything to expose WT/GB hypocricy in a life /death situation especially in regards to children who are the most vulnerable.

  Awake : 26 Children Who Put God First In Their Lives ? I often wonder how many of these parents still feel the same way.

  to jehovah's witnesses elders: blood transfusions are biblically supported: acts 15:20 says abstain from blood but 1 samuel 14:32-5 says saul's army ate unbled meat to not starve and no verses show god not forgiving them.

  christ says god also forgave david's eating temple holy bread to survive and that god wants mercy not sacrifice.

  (mt 12) the may 22, 1994 awake tells of 26 jehovah's witness kids who died without transfusions, and by common sense in massive bleeding as in car wrecks blood expanders won't save lives http://www.ajwrb.org.

  LTPF ,I wouldnt be too hard on myself if i were you.Sadly your father probably over reacted as well and kicking you out was a bit extreme on his part. However I dont judge him for his actions not knowing his background or culture.

  No doubt it was a real shock to him your becoming a JW. { and being a pain in the ass trying to witness to him LOL }

  I`m sorry to hear that you were never able to reconcile your differences with your dad before he died.

  I`m sure their are others here who can benefit from your experience .

  Feel like I've failed

  i need to get this off my chest, as i don't have many people to talk to about it who would understand.. i feel like i've failed my family, as not only have i been unable to get my parents and brother to see sense regarding the cult, but now my sister, who never got baptised but managed to escape twenty years ago, is now seriously considering going back for various "emotional" reasons, and i know that she won't listen to me.. i know they have all made their own decisions (at least, to the extent that brainwashed people can make their own decisions), and i can't really blame myself (even though i was the one who, when only ten years old, convinced my mum to listen to the poor lady on the doorstep out of politeness rather than just shut the door on her - so it is all indirectly my fault), but it still feels like i've failed them..

  All people need to take responsability for their own actions whether negative or positive.

  As individuals we may have given advice to someone that may or may not have taken up that advice by the person we gave it to.

  We cannot be held responsabile for the decision that peson takes it is upon their own head for ,their decision.

  Mr Negative you have no reason to feel guilty ,the onus rests on the person making their own decision as to what road they will take.and they will have to wear it alone.
