Can't you take pleasure in moderating your own board and nuking anyone who doesn't like your style of management? Do you have to pollute this board with your whining about what could-have-been, should-have-been, too? We left H20 to get rid of your whining and excuse-making and whimsical management. Do you have to drag your stupid ideas about how to manage a board in here, also? You've already failed at managing a board, so who's going to listen to your advice, anyway? Surely not Simon. He's got a winner here. You've morphed your board into a loser. Why should he listen to you? I paid money to help you cover your finances on several occassions. You made me out to be one of the worst of the bad guys and have cited me more than anyone else in your pathetic exercise of trying to justify your conduct. Frankly, I'm just sick of it. We allegedly made our peace and I wish you no ill will.

That being said, just go away and quit beating the horse that you killed, Rick. Or stay, but start talking about JW issues and stop whining. We're all sick to death of that. H20 is now history. You wanted your golden eggs and yet in your infinite wisdom, killed the geese that gave them to you, like it or not.

Good to see you again, Josephus! How's life up in the North Atlantic these days?

As I've told you in the past, I was a window washer/pioneer. I actually made good money at it too. I did that from 1969 to 1972.

The really good news is that I never used my formidable training and skills as a window washer to screw anyone's life up. In otherwords, I was never a window washer Elder.

the may 1 and june 15, 2001 watchtower issues have reading articles about helping widows through their trials and look after orphans and widows in their tribulation.

both articles contain very healthful counsel, tips and recommendations to the grieving and needy and to those around them on how, and when to offer help and support.. the problem with these articles is not that the average jw or local congregation elders are not doing their part in helping out the needy.

in fact, most individual jws are as compassionate and supportive as the average person.

True, but you failed to mention that the society's instructions in helping their own was fully in place and operational when Franz was alive. The fact is, the society at least since the days of Rutherford (starting 80 years ago) has NOT helped their congregations and those in them. Furthermore, Fred Franz was no doubt responsible for the policy on congregations (not the society itself, mind you) helping their own. The needy one must have gone those these hoops before there was any chance of the congregation helping:

1) There must be NO relatives who are in the position to help
2) All govenment aid options must have been first tried and found to fail.
3) The person must have had many years of service to the Watchtower Corporation.
4) Those years must have been "faithful" years. (Define THAT!)

If any of those first two conditions could be possibly met, the one in need would get nothing. If EITHER of those last two conditions are NOT met, the one in need would get nothing.

Where did Christ set up crap like that as a condition to giving aid? Since when is giving aid to one's own brother/sister subject to Corporate rules and not just compassion and charity?

The Bible illustrates that a "wordly" person could set a fine example for Christians for helping others. But can dubs see that example and follow it. What if a dub confronted a "wordly" person in need, would a dub help him or her? What if the Samaritan was the one in need and the dub was the one who could help?

Dub to wounded Samaritan guy on the road: "have you tried to find government aid?

Wounded Samaritan guy: "heck, no! I was just robbed and beaten. I'm hurting right now!

Dub: "well, do you have any relatives who can help you out?

Wounded Samaritan guy: "I don't know. I'm too messed up to get to them and ask. Will you help me?

Dub: "Maybe. Have you put in long years of service to our Printing Corporation?"

Wounded Samaritan guy: "I'm not a Jew or a Christian, you dummy! I'm a Samaritan!"

Dub: "So therefore, you haven't been faithful as we define it, have you?"

Wounded Samaritan guy: "No, I guess I haven't."

Dub: "Well then it's all YOUR fault, Samaritan. I have magazines to sell, buddy. See ya later. Have a nice day. If you die, you die. I have to follow our Corporation's rules. Sorry about that."

Wounded Samaritan guy: "ok. I guess."

Now not only won't a dub help worldly "Samaritans" in their time of need, they won't even help their own in times of need except if they meet a whole list of condtitions.

The WTS is rotten, rotten, rotten to the core. If any of you folks cannot see that, then you deserve exactly what you get from those self-serving bastards.

Harley also had his own private business dealing with bee-products, as I recall. While he and others punished Bethelites for engaging in free-enterprise themselves, he and other hypocritical high-ranking Bethelites broke their own rules for their own benefit and enrichment.

Someone mentioned Art Worsely today. As I've posted before, Art used to work the night desk and saw Nathan and Audrey Knorr and other Bethel bigshots come in at night from dining at the finest restaurants and drinking the finest wines, in their fancy suits and tuxedos. Imagine what Art thought, being a decent and hard-working man who had given his entire life to that crooked, evil printing empire.

If Harley dies before I do, I'll be most happy to spit on his grave too, and hope that he rots in hell with the rest of his thoroughly corrupt,lying and evil peers.

In all fairness, these folks do have a point. You must have a very LARGE mailing list. How do I know it's not some intimate mailing list? Here's how I know: on more than one occassion you have forwarded to me a post with the banner, "Read This: It's Hilarious!", or "Read this! It really gets down to the truth!" Guess what? You sent ME my OWN posts! Well, thanks for the kudos, but it seems to me that your mailing list must be so large that you can't even tell who is getting what. That's sort of like saying to Beethoven "listen to this awesome "Eroica" Symphony! Isn't it great? Beethoven would say (he COULD hear at that time in his life) "yeah, it's great alright. I wrote it." The messenger who played the fool would then say, "Oh, you did? Well, then, nevermind....."

Will you marry me? No, wait! That would make me a poofter. Would you let one of your sisters marry me? No, wait! They all fight! Er, would you let me visit you then, and not marry me and force me to work in your mine for room and board with Greater Sulphur Crested Cockatoos (and a few cheeky galahs for snacks and a walloby here and there) for food? If I play the piano for four hours, do I get a pet Kangaroo, or at a least a Platypus? (What do those suckers eat, anyway?) That's the least you could do, because after Armageddon I get my own pet lion, but knowing my luck, God wouldn't give me any straw rations and that poor sucker would have to eat my Walloby. Then God would kill him for messing around with the rules.

White is the absence of color. Black is all primary colors mixed.

White is the sum-total of all the visible light spectrum. Black is the lack of light. Light and color are nearly exacty opposites in their definitions.

I'm not sure about the color black being all primary colors mixed, though. Maybe black also includes generous helpings of that color known as "dirt." It's been about a hundred years since I studied that stuff.

And that was in second grade. Even though I spent four years there, I'm still not sure about the color black. I was a dub. I'm still a dummy.
