My father sent me the link to that awhile ago. I was intrigued...as I had noticed how much of a cult JW is at that point. Even though I was no longer a practicing JW, I still defended them when people called them a cult. It sure opened my eyes. I tried sharing it with my sister (still a staunch JW) and she got very upset with me. Oh, well.

i've been out for about 4 years and for the first time i've been able to find a place that understands how hard it was for me to get to where i am today after being raised a jw.

i feel like all of you can relate to having to start a new life from scratch after years of living a completely different one.

How do I post an avatar pic on MySpace?

i tried to post it as my avatar, and it went into the 'about me' section instead.

anyone know how to correct this?

i used photobucket, expecting it to go to the little square intro pic, and it's a gigantic photo on the side instead!.

I can understand that, Rich. It's a little different, but my boyfriend does web design for porn sites. He looks at porn all day long. Bothers me a little, but he makes it up to me. ;)

My boyfriend is Agoraphobic. For the first 9 months or so of our relationship, we didn't go out in public together. Just the thought of going out gave him major anxiety attacks. Our "dates" consisted of watching TV in my living room after my daughter went to bed. I showed him how much I love him by being there for him every step of the way and not forcing him to do anything he wasn't ready for. He went on medication about 6 months ago and things are better...we go out together now...but there are still places that are difficult for him to go. It doesn't bother me in the least. He treats me like a princess and makes it so easy for me to love him.

As of yesterday, I had a cute layout, graphics and song, but I deleted it all late yesterday afternoon in a mini temper tantrum. I promise I'll make my page look nice again soon. ;)

WE didn't go to the Memorial last night!!!

we didn't go to the memorial last night.. husband and self went to sainsburys and bought easter eggs for the kids and we bought the dvds of 'a night in the museum' and 'flushed away'.. easter egg consumption will commence on sunday as with the usual pagan ritual.. films have already been watched, enjoyed and watched again.. we went shopping half an hour before the memorial was due to start so that any jws going past would see we were consumed in our worldly pleasures!!

we also bought a load of reduced 'danish' and us and kids ate them with relish with a nice cup o' tea!.

ah!
