Shortest eldership ever?
by outofthebox inas many of you know, while i was already a member of this forum and very much awake i became an elder.
so, there is no holy spirit involved on those appoinments boys and girls.. i tried my best wake up people, but is not that easy you know.. months later i decided it was enough and decide to move away.
i can't give you any details at the moment, but .... rumor has it, i am not an elder anymore.

They also avoid tax implications by calling the money a "reimbursement" for personal expenses. It is not payment for services rendered- otherwise it is severly below the state and federal minimum wage.
The legal department has a tax preparation group that prepares the taxes for all bethelites every year. That way, no one slips and calls the reimbursement income. The only income that is reported is from "G" jobs. (side work picked up by bethelites to give them some additional income)

I've met some of them too- and they are nice people... until you realize that
- They forced Ray Franz out for thinking
- They know the truth about 607 and 1914 and keep teaching it
- They might doubt that the blood policy is the actually the correct interpretation of the scriptures, but they keep enforcing it.
- They know everything we know- but they stay where they are...

Another classic head fake from the WTBTS. Lets talk about focusing on the new system. And about half of the article is actually about that. The second half is all about how bad you are and how dead you will be if you don't keep focusing.
But I guess they couldn't title the article "Keep your eyes on the prize- and if you don't you'll die like Judas"

I always felt like something was wrong with me/us because our family never worked this way. My wife has no problem telling me that I'm wrong, she wouldn't wear an apron in a million years and she wanted to go to college to improve herself. These articles make it look like the 1950's model is the best and only way of having a good family. Wow are things better now that I can see through this shite!!

They are sure to try and throw out the ususal carrots- we'll give you a fire truck, and pave a road for you. But (hopefully) Ramapo is a little more sophisticated than Lansing or Pine Bush/Wallkill or Patterson. The supervisor seems to be saying "Show me the money" (Lets see a specific offer). The usual bit of smoke and mirrors may not work so well.
