He also does a Prince skit where he goes door to door dressed as Prince and singing and dancing trying to place Watchtowers. I kid you not!
Is this also available on YouTube? Thanks, Asheron, that was classic. Rachel

How Would a JW Answer This Question? Opinions, Please.
by GoddessRachel ini was thinking to myself this morning and came up with this question:.
if jehovah god is so merciful, why would he punish his people because of apostates?.
my thought process was that the end hasn't come because it is some kind of a test to see how faithful his people can be.

R. Crusoe, I can't understand what you are saying. Are you saying that since Jehovah's Witnesses can't think for themselves this isn't a question they would even entertain? Or am I missing your point...
Here's the question:
If Jehovah God is so merciful, why would He punish his people because of apostates?

FemaleThinking?
by R.Crusoe ini have often heard women speak about men who think with their meat and two veg!.
it is as if they lay claim to a theory that all male agendas form as thoughts which mainly travel down the cerabal cortex and out through the zipper before coming to life in the real world.. but how do men think women think?.

women..they walk on two legs and breath air- but they aint human.
~Hill
Hillbilly, this comment is just completely unnecessary.
Maybe you guys are going for the wrong kind of women and it's negatively coloring your perception of all women! Broaden your perspectives; go out of your comfort zones and date someone who is not your "type". You might learn that your type isn't your type at all,

But how do men think women think?
This is a funny first post. After reading through the thread, I can't help but think that you are:
1) saying men don't like to be stereotyped
2) while simultaneously stereotyping women
But what do I know? I'm just a silly female. Never mind what I think; enough other women already posted their opinions and I'm sure mine is just the same as theirs since I am prone to that "female thinking."
Oops, I'm being overly sensitive now and taking it too seriously. Sorry, LouBelle.

I agree with what Unique1 says here:
Honestly, I know TONS of JW girls that did this. They would wait, then mess up and go all the way once and turn into a free for all buffet. It is because they are taught to never speak of sex, to never think of it, to never ever let it tempt you so when they do finally have sex they usually feel bad and dirty, like they let God down. After a day or two of feeling guilt, they usually turn and say well God is already mad at me, I am going to die at Armageddon anyway, might as well have fun doing it and they screw any decent looking guy to come around. Admittedly this reasoning is faulty but they are brainwashed.
I was once a JW girl and believe me, we have no self respect as JW women, we are taught not to, and add no self esteem to the massive sexual repression and this is what happened to your girl. The fact that you have already broken up means you are on the right track.
I know it hurts, but be her friend if you are able, if it is too hard because you are so in love with her, cut the relationship off completely.
This little girl has to grow up all by herself and not you or anybody can help her do it faster. You can, however, slow down the progress by trying to fix her and/or trying to be her boyfriend. Only she can grow up. You can't grow up for her. And she's clearly not ready for any kind of boyfriend. She is confused, poor thing. I grieve for both you, as the JW's have messed up something else that could have been lovely otherwise.
Sorry to be so brutal, Friend. Like others have said, stick around this board and read; you'll know soon enough why so many are saying stay away from JW's.

I've seen ads in the paper and wondered about it. But haven't looked into it. Yet. Sounds like a valuable thing! What is the meeting format, and what subjects are discussed?

Thanks for your post, R. Crusoe.
I'm asking this question because I'm trying to discern what my JW family might say if I were to pose this question to them???
Thanks!

Also, I'm glad I live in a world where I can take turns steering the g*dd*mn ship with my partner! Neither one of us ALWAYS wants to make decisions! It's nice to lean on one another.
Oh, poor, poor stuck Witnesses.
