i found out today that my mom took my son to the kh behind my back when she was in town visiting.
he's just a little baby so he will have no memories of it.
SPAZnik, I think that she had left her child with his (never been a JW) father, who allowed her mother to take the child to the KH, not left the child with her mother. Read her post again - are your comments justified?
Most JW parents would never allow non-JW grandparents to take children to mainstream church services. Unfortunately, they can't see this from the other side. It is simpler to never allow JW grandparents unaccompanied access.

one that springs to mind periodically.. i havent read any dickens for years but some of his characters, even if sometimes a little deliberately one dimensional were portrayed in such detail that the character and the quality become embroiled.

recently i had began to have weird dreams, ones i could not ignore and i needed to speak to someone about it.
so i asked one of the elders i respected a lot to make some time to speak to me after the meeting one night.
i knew it would be a conversation that would take awhile, so i told my family to drive in a separate car, which allowed me not to worry about how long they were waiting for me.

so i went to the bar again tonight for my 4th appearance at the open mic comedy event.
my last three sets went fine, got plenty of laughs, and i felt good about them.
tonight i thought some folks from work were going to be there so i was using old material that had worked previously.

I have been a member of an audience when the comic responded to a female heckler (poorly) with misogynist insults. It wasn't funny and it did not endear him to me. You insult the heckler on the basis of gender, you have insulted every woman there.

i got a call from aztec and badger had gall blader surgery yesterday.

last night i got a text message from an old witness friend of mine inviting me to her wedding ceremony at the kingdom hall.

this particular town was famous for making pickles.. i have googled w/every phrase - word, etc.

not all of them in christianity, and not all of them in a personal god of any kind, but believers of some stripe.
what belief did you wind up with, and why?
