Hilarious quote tonight to one of my "ex" friends...
by bluesbreaker59 inso tonight, i have one of my buddies over that is a fader, and we're sitting around eating some smoked pork and bbq beans that i made over the weekend.
one of our "conditional friends" called me and asked if he could pick up his mail, that he had forwarded to my house.
you see our former friend has a credit card and cell phone that he doesn't want his dub parents knowing about, so he had it forwarded to my place.

As humans, we all have the ability to overcome badness in ourselves. We do this by having faith in God. I don't really think people are born with badness or mental issues. I believe that satan and other bad spirits run this world and, if we aren't completely relying on God, us too.
I do think mental drugs can numb us to the evils that come our way. We rely on the drugs, and not on God, and we fall prey. Of course, not that all drugs do this. Alcohol could too. And our past, if we were abused maybe, that makes us feel like a victim, which again enslaves us. If we rely on God, we can have strength against evil ans sickness. And not be trapped by our past, drugs, alcohol, abuse or anything else. -

It's hard to love people when they are hurtful to us. You know that hurting him back isn't the way to go. He feels like he HAS to say these things to you. Sadly, I have said similar things to df'd people before I realized about the wts.
Also, I think it's good that you found a girlfriend. You know, though, you don't have to sleep with her. The truth is, just because you aren't a witness, doesn't mean you have to lead a immoral life. There are many people, that have left religion, and they lead happy, fulfilling lives, without having sex with a girlfriend. They realized that God isn't in religion and they have found Him through Jesus. And it's pretty awesome and beautiful.
I'm not judging you, friend, because that is not up to me. I just want you to know that you can live a moral life, full of faith and love. And you will be amazed at how happy you'd be. You think you're happy now...just wait. -

Happiness can be hard but there are a few ways that help.
First, pray and ask God to help you get over any anger and bitterness you have toward the wts and toward any people, whether from the JW's or anyone else.
Work in harmony with that prayer. Whenever some resentment arises, catch yourself, admit that you are not acting in harmony with your prayer, tell God "woops, I'm sorry", and make yourself stop thinking about it. It's a little tricky but it can be done. By pushing the negative thoughts out, it makes room for love to consume you.
Pray for faith in Jesus, more than you already have. Pray for understanding about what it really means to follow Jesus. Read the gospels and all of the New Testament. Tell people about your faith, but not in an arrogant way, but just to testify to your faith. More importantly, be Jesus. The world doesn't have Jesus, as a person, on earth. So we have to be Jesus for them. In our thoughts, and our actions. If we think about things that upset us, we will be upset. If we think about immoral things, we will be more immoral. If we think about material things, we will lust for pleasures like money, and we will not be content with having our needs provided for us.
What we think about, is what will consume us. So think about how Jesus was and is. And be that.
Thank God for everything in your life. When you overcome something, thank God for it. He deserves our praise. Whenever something good happens in your life, praise Him. When something bad happens, look at how you can handle it according to God's will. When you pray and ask God for help, believe that he is helping you. Even when you can't see it, he is helping. So again, thank Him for helping you. Always have faith. Never doubt.
That is how you can be happy. Real happiness. -

Do You Have A Goal Regarding Jehovah's Witnesses???

do you want to expose the religion for the fraud that it is (like i do)?.
do you want to set up a ministry devoted toward the destruction of everything watchtower?.

I have family in. Although, at times, I speak to them about the religion, I don't want it to be the main thing we talk about. It can be hard because they don't really talk to me much and it can hurt. But God is seriously taking the pain away. I make it a point to not dwell on the religion. Yes, I think about it and realize their sins. But it does not consume me. I've seen what that can do to people. It keeps people distanced from God.
So I'm using my days to give the religion very little attention. Instead, I'm doing what I can to have more faith In God and Jesus. And it has helped me to heal tremendously. They are helping me to be made new, to get rid of my false self.
I have freedom in Christ and am NOT enslaved to that religion. If I let the JW's be any kind of focus, to the point that it interferes with me being like Jesus, then I am enslaved to the religion still. Just because you are not a witness anymore, doesn't mean that you aren't still trapped. The more you let the JW religion upset you, the more power you give it. Enslavement. To them still. To revenge. To pride. To anger. Enslaved.
My goal in Live the Kingdom Now. Love. -

Why would you want to make him feel like crap for coming over? He tried to be easy going about eating the meal with you and you pushed him into feeling guilty. The wts is good at doing that. We don't need to help them guilt their members more, do we?
I think had you just let him eat and been cool about it, he would've felt like maybe you aren't so bad. But you did what the witnesses do, and scared him.
He is probably filling out his application for Bethel as we speak because of the guilt he feels about it. -

I'm sorry that you are being hurt. Let me say this. Jesus died for all people, even while they were sinners. He has never expected to receive a thank you. He did it knowing that most people would reject his loving gift. And yet, he did it. You are right to continually show her love. Love your enemies, those persecuting you. Never expect anything in return. And if you ever do receive a thank you, praise God.

do you have someone you can truly rely on???
by chelsea inis there someone in your life who you know will be there when you really need them without a shadow of a doubt???
as much as i hope my girlfriends or whoever else will care about me and be there when i really need them, no one consistently has been, except for him, time and time again.
there are many very good reasons why i'm not with him anymore... but the fact that he cares more than anyone else is fairly persuasive... i don't want to go back to him, but what does one do when everyone else is too busy to care???

Yes I do. My Father (God), and Jesus. I also have a couple a friends that we met through Jesus and I have my husband. But the only ones out of all of them that I know will always be here for me, and that I never have to worry about changing is God and Jesus. They'll always be here.
