I tried to go back for my son first, since he used always ask me to get reinstated..then also for my family. After 14 yrs I started to go to the meetings. I felt like i wanted to run outside and start blasting heavy metal music back into my brain ,which is what i always did when i got into my car...Tried to go back but just couldnt do it. Elders were somewhat suspicious when they found out that i got dfd for causing divisions ...they didnt reinstate me after 6 months saying that i had to attend ALL THE MEETINGS....worked shifts so couldnt go to all meetings, thank god, and ended up not attending anymore. Just a complete turnoff to my system and my brain... If my family wants to talk to me they have my number. fortunately, 3 yrs later my son himself got dfd ......whew!

The Watchtower, July 15, 1960, p. 436When they wrote this they were FORCED to LIE and say" and that "proved to be true..the faithful and discreet slave class has been sitting here for 1900 years and jesus entrusted IT "
EXCUSE ME?? No proof given for Russell joining any Slave Class its just "take our word for it, it happened"

What ONE subject would you most want to debate with a JW defender?
The fact that there is no proof whatsoever that Jesus and or Jehovah, set aside RUSSELLS GROUP from all the rest of the groups/religions/sects/cults at that time and Clearly and without any question chose THEM as his only visible representatives AND that it could be clear to anyone to see that throughout the preceding centuries there was an unbroken chain of the faithful and discreet slave class that had passed on "light" to the next generation until Mr CT Russell came on the scene to accept the honor of joining Said Faithful and discreet slave class that was supposed to be there when jesus came in 1914........

I don't understand life or the universe
by Decided ini'm 75 years old and am confused about life and god.
all explainations seem made up by some religious person or some written book that doesn't make any sense to me.
why doesn't a god just let us know that he exist in some way that all people could understand.

I dont understand life either. I dont believe another human can help you unravel lifes questions. Something other than human needs to explain it to me. Ive been sick and tired of all the answers given by humans. Im reminded of a Robin Williams movie where he turned to the sky and yelled WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN? No matter how I cut it I keep coming back to the same thing...how i feel cuz its the only thing im sure of..and that is I feel like a lab rat. I hope im wrong and there is another plane of existence higher and better than this where we exist again.
I really believe with no facts that the universe never ever ends it goes on forever and you cant hit a wall where it stops. Someone somewhere out there more intelligent than us is there. No one out there needs to care about us but it sure would be nice to get a visit now and then.
I have to marvel at all the you tube videos about unexplained aircraft and lights. No matter how much other worldiness is caputured theres never anyone that lands and says Hi i was in the neighborhood and wanted to say hi to your world. Sure would be nice though.
If i get to be 75 yrs old I hope some answers have been provided by then. ..but not holding my breath. The thing i hate is that mankind has made life mean creating and paying your debts, mortage, and scraping out a living just so you can eat and provide for a family..when it should mean more, a lot more. I would love to see a benign supernatural event for the betterment of man but not holding my breath.
