The H.M. Riley Trust

because someone, someone who misused their authority as financial information of such as is posted online relative to this trust is confidential communication between a financial planner, accountant, board of trustees and beneficiary of the trust; it's revealed the mutual funds owned by the riley trust have a "consumer staples/consumer goods" component, and one of the stocks in that component is phillip morris.. it's a completely immaterial amount of money and it's not generated by securities that are able to be traded, unless the entire mutual fund is sold off.

this is another fine example of people who have an axe to grind with jehovah's witnesses doing a whole lot of work to produce a "smoking gun" that really is nothing of the kind.. this stems from some financial information that was released related to a lady named henrietta riley.

apparently a wealthy jw that made the watchtower society the beneficiary of the income from her trust.

Love your neighbor

i've often wondered how witnesses seem to do well with christ's 2nd commandment with fellow witnesses and not all their neighbors.

is this just another effect of their teachings?

do they translate this scripture differently in their bible?.

The main problem for a JW with loving their "worldly" neighbors is that no one in the congregation would know about it unless they broadcasted it. And then, that would only be acceptable for a relatively short period of time unless they started a Bible study. Otherwise, it becomes a matter of being "unevenly yoked with sinners".

Has anyone Ever Told those Elders off Over their abuses of People?

Hi razkat,

I was disfellowshipped in 1997 after coming to the defense of a mentally challenged brother who the elders and ministerial servants decided to publicly reprove after they provoked him into throwing his Bible, mostly because they didn't take the time to understand him or get to know him. This kid had a good heart and was really zealous for "the truth" until they practically destroyed his faith. I was one of the few people in the congregation who ever paid any attention to this guy and the only one who was willing to pick him up and bring him to the meetings. It was a long way to the Hall and it would have taken 3 buses to get there.

There was also a sister in the congregation who confided in me that she had been publicly reproved for "conduct unbecoming a Christian", which when translated, meant that she had complained about the presiding overseer treating all the women in the congregation as second class citizens a la the Apostle Paul on steroids. I requested a back room meeting where I informed the PO that he had lost his forgiveness and mercy due to being "overreached by Satan" as per 2 Corinthians 2:10,11...and that HE was the reason why more than half the congregation was attending the meetings of the other congregations sharing the Kingdom Hall.

Within a week he built a BS case against me, bullied his opinions onto the other two elders in the tribunal (who happened to like me very much, or so I thought) and disfellowshipped me a week after that, basically for celebrating Christmas and smoking during the 19 years I was "inactive" before returning to meetings 9 months before this happened. I didn't know they could disfellowship people for retroactive behavior but anything goes in a mind-control cult where elder training includes indoctrination with Nazi ideals.

Tougher Stance on the Disfellowshipped?

one of my best friends with whom i grew up (and pioneered) with has been disfellowshipped for the past 6 years.

his parents are still witnesses and, though they've been grieved over the fact that he's not a jw, they've always treated him well, and he pays them regular visits every month.. well he just informed me today that "the watchtower came out with stricter rules... my parents flat-out told me in person they can barely have any contact with me from now on.

" he's pretty depressed about it.. of course, the position on the disfellowshipped has largely been, "if they're out of the org, they're dead to you, family or not.

This is what happens when fear prevails over love and compassion. One verse from "Paul", which was probably a fourth-century interpolation of the Eusebius gang, and they have their scriptural alibi to treat human beings like an infectious virus.

We really should feel sorry for them. There is no judgment (see the Prodigal Son parable), only the laws of cause and effect. In other words, whatever you put out eventually hits you in the ass. They are judging their way deep into the goat class. They should only know that this is the real meaning of the Mark of the Beast. Beasts are lacking compassion. It's a great big blotch on the forehead that covers the third eye, keeping a person trapped in their own egos, and it comes from trying to extract splinters from your brother's eye while you have a telephone pole in your own.

Do Jewish people still consider themselves to be "the chosen people"?

the old testament makes it clear that jewish people were considered (by themselves) to be "god's chosen people".

then that sweet jewish boy jesus came along and said "it's nonsense, we're all the same, welcome goyim.".

so does modern judaism still hold the view that jewish people are preferred by god, with some special destiny?.

The Jews are not a race. Anthropologists will look at the Jewish civilization and say it has every attribute of a race, but it can't be defined as such since it does not qualify scientifically. However, even the anthropologists and sociologists know that it has a different attribute than any civilization that's ever existed. Intuitively, they're picking up on the Akash. They are "God's Chosen People" to suffer the hub energy. . . to be moved around the planet and be chased and hated. Wherever they go, others will be after them to wipe them out or enslave them. That's their purpose because they hold the hub of the Human Akash, a powerful position of astral importance.

All your history will show this. There is no other group who has consistently been pursued for annihilation through more than 4,000 years. Intuitively, the dictators, the masters, the Caesars all knew it. Intuitively, if they could eliminate the Jews, they themselves would take on the power of the Akash, or so they felt. They would become the core! That's how it continues even this day. Some will say, "Well, that's an interesting story, Kryon. Do you have any proof of that?" I say to you, just look at your history and tell me what other people have been pursued in this fashion all the way through their history? From enslavement by the Egyptians to elimination by the Romans, it goes on to the present day. From the recent events of the Nazis to current verbiage of Iran in the Middle East, they all wanted this "race" gone or enslaved. Oh, they all had their 3D reasons, but it's more than a coincidence that Jews are chased wherever they go. This is what they were chosen for. Are you beginning to understand? Now let me tell you the other side of that.

In return for this Earth service as a Jew, they have a pure karmic attribute that each time they return in a new life, they get to be Jewish again. How do you like this plan? It sounds unfair, does it not? But it must be this way. When Jews move into a non-Jewish lifetime, they never come back within the "race" of Judaism. It also has another attribute you can clearly see on the planet. Instead of passing around the torch of experience, as some of you have done through civilization, they've always been Jewish. Once a Jew, always a Jew, until they step out of that circle and then they cannot go back. The karmic attribute is a pure one. Now, perhaps in today's energy it's not politically correct to say it, but as you look around the earth, can you not see that Jews run things? They are in important places and seem to remain there. They're the masters of the shops and the corporate captains of industry. They understand how Human nature works because they've been there and they've done that for eons and eons. They have an edge on the rest of you, since their "experience jars" are filled with riding the same bicycle over and over and never having to learn on another one. But they pay for it. That's who the Jews are.

alice, you are simply regurgitating Watchtower nonsense. Historical records? What historical records would we be talking about? The Bible? The Sumerian records you referred to were the source for much of the Bible, which was plagiarized from it, and then the Jewish priesthood attached themselves to it to make it look as if "Adam" was a Jew and thus Judaism was God's religion. The only problem with that is that the Jews were at first polytheistic, not monotheistic.... ("let US go down there and confuse their language...") Check your Hebrew. "Elohim" means PLURAL Gods, both MALE and FEMALE. So it's a lot closer to yin and yang than it is Jehovah and Jesus.

There are inscriptions and hieroglyphics in Egyptian caves that are more than 10,000 years old. Watch the history channel and they will show you all the evidence you need to see that human, reasoning people existed in functioning societies 75,000 years ago. The problem with the whole Christian theology is that if Adam isn't the first man, you have no basis for a blood sacrifice to atone for HIS sin. Ezra and his corrupt Levite scribes added in all the crap about animal sacrifices and blood atonement. That means that the world was never perfect and it wasn't man that ruined it. It means that a lesser God than the Absolute created an imperfect world and man was put here by the Divine to civilize it. Read Psalms 82:1 and you will see that the God of the Bible is NOT "the Divine One". So religions like yours are what keep the human race from doing what it was put here for.

I doubt very much that Jesus ever referred to Adam, the MAN. The Bible was written by MEN. If you want to know who (or WHAT) Adam really was, the Adam Kadmon of Kabbalah is where it was taken from. It means "Primal Man" or "Primordial Man".

Hi darth. The earth is 4.6 billion years old. During that time, there have been many many cataclysms. The Grand Canyon may have been carved out over a period of many many thousands of years. The dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago. Evolution is a LONG process. It's all part of the the procession of the equinox. One of those "days" is 25,000 years long. Half of it is night, spiritual darkness, and the other half is day, brilliant wisdom and spiritual vitality. 12,000 years ago the Egyptians practiced the true religion. They knew that God maintains this earth through the sun, so their God was Aten. They knew that the sun was a metaphysical transformer, converting higher dimension energy from its source, the star Sirius. They also had their Christ, a solar energy.

Each time we go through one of these "days", we progress a little farther, before we fall back again during the "night". The indicator says we are entering Aquarius, but that points towards the higher dimensions. The real indicator is the opposite side of the indicator, pointing towards the physical earth that Kabbalah calls "Malkuth", that shows we are really entering Leo, hence Jesus is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. It is the bottom, the nadir of the night. We now start the progression towards daylight.

We've become very attached to material existence, because we don't know anything else. The truth is, we can't remember that we are spirits temporarily inhabiting a human body. Not remembering was part of the deal. We've done this many many times. VEry few of us are first-timers. Most of us go back to Lemuria, 50,000 years ago. Edgar Cayce told us we were Atlanteans, but I don't think he saw all the way back. We're here for a purpose, our little part in the evolution of the planet, to make our contribution to the great big data library, the Book of Life. We rolled the dice that we would remember before it was too late.

No big deal if we don't. We'll just have to do it again. Hopefully next time we don't get caught up in doomsday cults that stunt our growth.

There was a lot of truth in "Beam me up, Scotty, this planet sucks."

And that is why we came, to make it better.

Jesus himself allegedly said the end was coming within the generation he was speaking to, and all the apostles believed they would live to see the end, so something besides the Watchtower is amiss here, and I suspect its the Bible itself. It was old writings revised and put together at the Nicene Council to keep the masses in constant fear, and its still working like a charm. Thankfully more and more people are realizing that this dastardly book was not written by God but by priests who were simply in the "sin" business.
