frank/alanf wannabe:
if i kicked at every cur in my path, i'd get nowhere :)
what makes you think that if you throw some dumb questions around
that i'd feel honour bound to answer ??? dream on!!!
in the battle between apologists and apostates, who do you think more often comes around to the other point of view and why?.
imho, apologists (or trolls) are just potential apostates who need a little more time in the oven.
(in other words, they are not fully baked, only "half-baked.

with all due respect, i doubt very much that you left the organization because of any of the points you listed. would you really have us believe you left off because one of our members rode in a caddy!!! bomb shelters were the talk of the town at one time ... big deal!
anytime a statement that was issued and needed changing, the society stepped up to the plate and did so. the times in the early 1900s was a completely different era than the age of super technology we live with today. they were getting their land legs and have been very much blessed since then.

frank, i agree Christianity has always been dedicated to God. Christendom broke away from that when they refused to regognize Jesus' enthronement in 1914. True Christianity is still dedicated to serving Jehovah.

Actually, Frank, Christianity WAS dedicated to God. They became Christendom when they failed to recognize Jesus took his throne in 1914, and to conform to true Christianity. It's because of this that they are considered apostate, in Jesus' eyes.

i guess you would be considered an opposer. you are given some latitude because you were never considered a Witness. i have the feeling you disguise your mission quite well at meetings, for your husband's sake.
who knows, maybe someday you'll be proWitness :)

i have absolutely no interest in discussing the Beth Sarim history with you. you can make that five times you've asked if you'd like ... i still will have no interest.
i will get back as time allows to jgnat and Big Tex.

frank, jgnat and Big Tex:
this seems to have spiralled way out of purportion. i am not nor have i ever been apostate. earlier, i meant that 'i am one' as having been df'd and returned.
sorry for the misunderstanding.
jgnat, there is no way you could be called an apostate. as i said before you would have to have been a dedicated and baptized member to be one.

found your way:
no, i was never an apostate and then reinstated. i was df'd for another reason and then reinstated.
i see there has been much ado about nothing here.
when i spoke of ones 'seeing the error of their way' and then returning, i meant ones who just lost interest for a while and then came back.
