What would you like me to say to your posts, 144001 ???
You told me to have a good life and I thought you meant it.
You ran on a bit that you don't like the group I'm with. SOOO???
i for one, would blindly trust just about anyone on this forum, just the fact of knowing that you already were a jw.. does this mean that jw's in general are better people or are we a very close bunch of people?.

here i sit, doing my hubby's study again.
a little creative editing on the part of the revelation writers caught my eye.
we are studying the laodiceans this week.
to whom it may concern:
I got the private message but don't know how to answer it.
Just to say in answer. It was an educated guess :)

I have lived both ways too, more so than you because you are not a JW now, but the spouse of one.
For a long time I had no religion. Now I do. I prefer now. It has true meaning. I also have family who are JWs and some who are not. I love them all equally. The ones who share my beliefs have more in common with me, thus more to talk about, but that does not exclude the others. So I do know what you are talking about. I just see it from a new perspective.

That dear lady you described sounds just like my (Irish) aunt Rose. Yes, I agree she sounds like a jewel and who are any of us to decide hers or anyone elses worth. My only point is that generally speaking, I find JWs above average in many ways.

Well,Carla, I think you have to admit, you have a unique situation.
I've never heard ANY Witness talk as you have described.
Never heard of any Witness telling anyone they should lie, either.
Based on my experiences, JWs are a cut above the average person.

HR:
In Matthew 6:19-21 it means not to treasure earthly, material wealth. Rather, (symbolically) store up treasures in heaven by making a good name for yourself with Jehovah. This is figurative in that you cannot touch it as you can silver and gold and so on. You also, while alive on earth cannot touch it physically. It is a spiritual treasure.
21 "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Your treasure is a spiritual one and that is where your spiritual heart will be also.

TopHat asked if they would still be rejected for not believing in the WTS teachings.
I simply cleared this up by saying one must adhere to Bible teachings.
Thus, the original question was dishonestly skewed.

When I say neighbors and coworkers, I don't mean that I talk to them about religion. It's just in general conversation that people say they have no desire and no need for religion. Life is good. Don't rock the boat!
No eye rolling or quietly slipping away :)

I know that wasn't your question.
It was my answer though.
