bad chicken is one of the worst stenches you will ever encounter, i hate the card game 'trips and runs' and certain wendy's drive thru's are open until 3am, but i get ahead of myself.. my becky's work has its christmas party in january, which is kinda odd, but also works pretty good for deflecting flack from my relatives who remain proudly captives of the crusty old codgers from crooklyn in their control tower.. we went to the party last night.

it was in a banquet hall connected to and run by a catholic church.

there was an open bar, which by local ordinance necessitated the presence of an armed off duty police officer, we had food, and the entertainment was a local 'casino service' that provides the chips the dealers, and the games; all becky's work had to provide was the prize table so we could bid on the prizes with our 'points' at the end of the evening.. there was some primo stuff there, rock band, guitar hero for x-box 360, a top end espresso machine, tools, i mean some damn good stuff.. so dinner went well, i managed to keep the carb count low, but didn't really get filled up.

ok, here's a safer topic.. what is with people who can live their entire life in an online game?.

i have an ex who submerged herself in world of warcraft and insisted on talking about characters, places, events, and items from in-game as if they existed in the real world.. she would start off telling me she was going someplace to do something, and in the end it would be 'wait a minute, this is all in-game?!?'.

then i'd be all exasperated that she'd wasted my time.. she even tried to leave her husband and child for some guy from texas who 'fell in love' with her avvie on star wars galaxies!.

i came on this board, and found a new level of understanding related to my evil cult past i had been seeking but never found before, and i thank you for that.. but i found myself holding my tongue on some issues, avoiding controversy, wanting to be liked.. some of you liked me, others really didn't, but i'm not sure i liked me, or that i even like those i used to want to be liked by.. certainly not enough to go on being so damn mediocre.. i have come to the conclusion that i don't give a flying fornicate if you people like me or not.. you either will, and that's fine, or you won't and i don't care.. i'll just be me, and the chips will fall where they may, and if you don't like it, you may feel free to attempt self-reproduction in an anatomically unlikely fashion!.

i am a believer.. i talk to god.

if you think that makes me foolish, or delusional, then so be it.. i repudiate atheism, evolution, and secular humanism in all it's forms.

i fell back on you when it was tough and you never failed to pick me up.. you were usually the first thought on my mind when waking up, and the first thing i would do was laughingly push your buttons.. but it's been tough lately, i could sense there was something wrong.

he can bite it, roll it up, take his rectal temp with it, i don't care.. at least i did the right thing even tho he told me i 'no longer matter to him' because i was charitable and supportive and that other thing.. i post it here because there are a number of points i made that could be of use to others.. maybe someone is having trouble with a teen, or maybe a teen is being treated badly and something in my letter will make em see something differently.. at least then it won't have been totally useless and a waste of time.. i swear, some days i feel about as useful as tits on a fish.. ===============================================.

Holiday Help

i am trying to prepare a position paper regarding the history of watchtower bans on holidays and could really use assistance.. i am trying to nail down the earliest instance of each of the following holidays being 'discouraged' (aka verboten) by the wts through any channel at its disposal.. here's what i have thus far.

tis the season, so to speak.. this is the time of year the darkness descends like a proclamation of doom, and the light retreats like a rank and filer encountering an actual, thinking, reasoning person during the failed misery.. i don't exactly operate at a hundred percent in the dark and cold, ironic considering where i live.. so one day, we have a relatively clear parking pad, and the next we get a ton of white shit dumped on us.. such lovely fun, shoveling all the global warming from the drive.. got to take the truck out and let it strut it's stuff, that bad ol' aposta-truck was in it's element and unstoppable.

like the unfailing assault of reason on the last tendrils of mind control left in my wetware.. see, i've been thinking again, in spite of all the trouble it's gotten me in before it's a hard habit to break.

i drive around and everybody is getting their christmas on, and i have always felt so smug that i 'knew better'.. see, here is the witless take; you gotta get all vestiges of pagan influence out of your life, no saturnalia, no lupercalia, no all hallows eve, no 'bless you' to a sneeze, no 'pot lucks', bleh blah yadda.. yet, every day of the week and month of the year is named for a pagan deity, the planets are too.
