I'm not sure if a television program can be submitted to a royal commission. I can at least try to look into it and if possible maybe I can arrange something. They are usually more after actual cases though and I'm sure the people in this documentary would be well aware of the commission and are free to submit their own experiences...

'Bedazzled' where Brendan Fraser's character (Elliot) is liasing with the devil (Liz Hurley) and they've just established God both exists and is a man.
Devil: "Most men think they're God, this one just happens to be right."

Looking to speak to current & ex-JWs in Australia
by nomoreklondikes inhope you don't mind me posting.
i'm a freelance writer, and am currently writing a story on the jehovah's witnesses church for a melbourne magazine.
i've spoken with an elder/spokesperson of a melbourne jw church, who explained the official positions of the church at length, but i'm really interested in getting more of a sense of the day to day experiences of jws, both current and former.

Not many active members on here. There are a few who defend the JW's but not sure if any are in Australia or if they are still active members.

I've noticed the Salvo's don't have Op Shops here anymore... they are now called 'Salvo's Stores' and no longer are the people who work there volunteers... they are now paid. They are more expensive than they used to be for their clothes but their furniture store here is a different story. Much cheaper than new (around 25-50% of the new price) and they deliver for free.
Will be moving into my own place (finally, haven't lived by myself in more than a decade) and will be pretty much furnishing the whole place through Salvo's... just can't afford new at the moment.
Sizemik, I had no idea.

Questions Young People Ask: How can I respond to Nigeria Scammers?

First, never respond to them with your own email address. Setup a new one. Gmail is the one I recommend as it strips your IP address off the message... they have no hope of tracing you (OK, some hope but they will never figure out how).
Make up an internet persona, stick to it. Play dumb and ask them a lot of questions. The longer you can stretch the thing out for, the more of their time you will waste and the less they will have to actually scamming someone who may have fallen for it. Think 'interested but not sure what I need to do here'. There are also 419 eater forums out there will help with resources (ie 80 page documents for them to fill out that your country requires due to the anti terror laws
). Don't post any responses on any forum until the bait has run it's course either... it's rare but sometimes they can find out that way you are only baiting them.
One more thing... never tell them you are baiting them. Let them think you were only wasting their time.
Final rule... HAVE FUN!

OK then, if the atheists on this thread are so hateful towards Mother Theresa because of her religious roots... why no criticism for the Salvation Army? Or Red Cross for that matter? Last I heard they were both religious organisations. Red Cross (I know they haven't rated much of a mention on this thread) in particular... I honestly cannot re-call one atheist here critical of them in any way. Religious org, and one that we were all once taught to hate (kinda in response to the insinuations we're critical of MT because she was catholic).
Why must criticism of a particular person always be taken as religious assault?

It's getting harder and harder to stay sitting on my hands about what should be an obvious point that none of MT's defenders seem to have noticed yet.

How about even if medical care isn't something you provide in the first place, you send the person who needs it to someone who does? To me, it's irrevalent that she was a catholic, that sort of behaviour isn't acceptable from anyone... period. What would the reaction be if an atheist behaved in a similar way to this? Would criticising their behaviour be seen as hateful?
