  Man In India Facing Jail Time For Debunking a So Called 'Miracle'

  so this statue of jesus appears to be weeping which brings in the flock.

  parishiners begin collecting it and distrubuting the water as 'holy water' and people drink it in hope it may cure then of their ailments.

  man investigates and discovers it is actually coming from a leaking sewerage pipe.. in exchange for telling this, he is now being charged with blasphemy... for intruding on the church's right to believe that it's holy water... gimme a break.

  i've been listening to this song all day... 'raise the alarm' by the living end.

  kind of an atheists/agnostics anthem but when you look at the lyrics, it rings a sentiment that a lot of us felt when we decided to leave that mind controlling cult that most of us here had the unfortunate experience to become involved with.

  especially my favourite lines which i titled this thread with.... 'but i'd rather risk my fate, than to lose my faith'.... raise the alarm - the living end.

  i would love to do this on a mass scale... think there might be something "big" in the results.. 1. were you a born-in (including those who's parents converted while they were still children) or did you convert as an adult?.

  late this afternoon and i'm about a third of the way through it already.

  can't put it down... loving it so far.

  from talks about demonic influence (and ice cream) to birthday parties with no be-heading to watching her first movie that had the word f*ck in it.... it's kinda eerie too... from what i can gather the author is around the same age as me (mid thirties) and we both left around the same (1997).
