Ive compared a few bibles together they are worded differently but mean the same thing if it was wrong why does the kings james version say the same thing just written different
Its the wording that makes the difference. Taking a scripture for example that says you must not consume blood.
Every moving animal that is alive may serve as food for you. As in the case of green vegetation, I do give it all to you. Only flesh with its soul—its blood—you must not eat."—Genesis 9:3, 4.
This law was for the purpose of hygiene, and how many witnesses have died because of it? They once said the same about organ transplants, many died from that law too. Then they back-flipped and said transplants are OK. They now allow blood factions, (even though someone must donate blood in the first place). Taking a scripture our of context dosen't make it right. Reading different bibles is a start, but you need to go further and reference material published by someone other than the society.
