for some strange reason i can not get to sleep this past week or so.....i am talking watch news, watch letterman, conan, the englishter..oh and usually on jwd a bunch too...and still up til 2:00 or 2:30 est...... so when do you usually turn in?..........oompa.

what the hey could be keeping me up???.

Truth is I love evenings, only time I get alone. So often I push myself to stay awake just for my own entertainment. Lately I have been staying up late and getting up early. Won't last too many more days I don't think.

Does Fear Rule Your Life ?

the definition of fear in the dictionary is " a feeling of agitation and anxiety caused by the presence of imminence of danger.

" another dictionary i have states the definition as , " an unpleasant emotion caused by exposure to danger, expectation of pain, etc.

a state of alarm .

not to make light...but if I survive my mom, I think I shall never fear again. Small statement, big meaning.

Otherwise, loosing fear of eternal destruction or torment, helped me. Funny how what I thought was the most comforting thing in my life added the most ture fear.

I am honestly not a fretful person....I could probably stand to be more on guard.

I'm Engaged!!!

so late last week, i decided that the time was right, and i asked my girlfried to marry me.

i had asked her father earlier in the week for his blessing, which he gave.

we had visited my mother (also df'd) in georgia prior to that, and mom and her hit it off.

I so have one observation , all the ladies are no going to want romantic boyfriends and hubbies too, how are going to do that?

Break Even Miles to pay off that new Hybrid vehicle

a day or so ago, wife and i watched this money expert on some morning show.

she (the expert) seemed to advocate trading in your regular vehicle for one of those new hybrids in order to save money.

it sounded like a good idea -- till i put a pencil to it.

Interesting....although I bought my prius in 2005, and paid something like 24K....nice car for that money. I put a large down and have a small loan that is low interest, one more year. I get 55 to 60 on the highway and at $4 per gallon.....I can't see how that is not economically feasible.
