I have a sister-in-law in California I would love to see. I wonder how many miles I can go in two weeks and $2500....? I would love to see both coasts. Maybe I can....not sure.

Witness Sister suffers a Stroke - See Niece & Nephew 1st time ,11 years
by flipper inwell , my sister who is 56, a witness, suffered a stroke a few days ago and i saw her at the hospital yesterday from afternoon till mid evening.
she is doing better than a few days ago as she is able to finally move her right arm a little bit which she had not been able to wednesday after the stroke.
she can talk , but is still speaking with difficulty a bit .

So sorry for your sister. I understand strokes, she could have a fragile life after this.
I am so glad for your experience with your niece and nephew....I know from here that you will give it your best, you are an awsome uncle I am sure. I'm glad they will have a chance to know that. Maybe so much more for them. Great opportunity.

I don't really know the answer to your question, but in my experience with conflicts within the org, the one who is performing the best is the one who is believed. Also, it is all about public opinion (sanctify the WTS at all costs), so if you get your name in the paper, watch out.
I have a relative who was accused of molestation by another relative in the congregation. He admitted it. There were no charges brought up, but he was removed as an elder, and can't read, pray, lead a service group...etc. He can go out in service, give talks in the school, answer (OMG!He's old and knows EVERYTHING) conduct bible studies, and he continues to be one of the most self-righeous people I hope I will ever know. Now, I know this may be off the subject a bit, but IF there had been charges brought up, I wonder if anything would have been different. We are talking about a lifer, player, and a popular personality. IMO, they take care of their own.
