For me it is the shunning (disfellowshipping) of young ones. They are encouraged to get baptized at a young age, then if they experiment with, say, smoking, partying, etc..they could get disfellowshipped. Being shunned by the enitre congregation, friends, and family. It's just not right, not to mention unloving.
i have a nice window looking out on a tree lined street.

all day i watch families on bike rides, dog walkers, and i have my own personal road runner searching for lizards.
My computer room is exactly that. Big 3 sided desk with one 24" widescreen monitor, 19" monitor/TV, VCR, KVM switch, scanner, video capture device, colour laser printer, photo printer, fax machine, 7 computers, PIX firewall, perimeter router, wireless access point, UPS, and a ton of CDs and computer books. Cables everywhere
Sounds cozy. How about a picture? Surrounded by all that technology, I know you can. Although I do have a visual. Do you watch TV or movies?

Thanks Jim TX, San Antonio would be fun, love to meet you. I am hoping to hear from other TX people. I'll be leaving from Albuquerque, so I 40 east. I haven't planned the route yet, I'll let you know.
I will keep a daily journal, and photo diary. Of course I'm going to write everything down I spend. I'll be using my money to live on after I get home. So the more I stick to a budget, the better my homecoming will be. I want to try to plot places to visit along the way, so after I get my route figured out, I'll ask the board for ideas. I love local restraunts, etc...
I'm also looking for a place to relocate, small town US, so I will try to spend more time in those towns that are of interest to me.
The big, you know BIG cities and traffic will stress me out a bit. I'll try to avoid any and all rush hours in those places.
I need to get my laptop fixed, I don't even know how to write with a pen anymore.

by the very nature of rejecting marriage, there's very rarely an occasion to voice our disinterest in romance.
we just kind of sit their silently while everyone else talks about their sexual and romantic preferences.. i'm sure i'm not the only one here, so how about it?

the last week or so, i've had recurring dreams of elders coming after either me or my wife (who is still a believer).
for example, i dreamt elders were accusing us of being apostates and were demanding a meeting with us.
they were citing lack of regular meeting attendance as the reason for their suspicions.
Nobody has any guns, it was just a bad dream, go back to sleep.

Yes John, I mean my cross country journey. I'm good. I went to bed last night with a smile on my face. (I'm sleeping in the room with my Mom, so a smile isn't to be taken for granted.) I am obsessed, but that is another story.
I just had to pay homage to my room. It has taken me through a tough but important time in my life. Temporary spaces sometimes are the most memorable.

Change is good. So I think about the good. Wash out the bad and we wil see what the new computer space looks like when we get there.
