  New Mac user here...need help!

  i just added camino as my browser, thought that would fix it, but i still can't post on jwd like i could on my pc.

  i love this computer, except for my jwd limitations.

  for me it was that god is killing billions of people just to prove a point.

  so many! But to pick one....shunning. I could never wrap my head around how that was "loving". It was easy for people to understand, unlike the doctrines that took acrobatic skills with the scriptures to explain, so there was no way to confuse the issue and make it look like something it wasn't. wings

  so i start thinking about all my "privileges.

  " i went to mts, took 600 pages of notes, went to my assignment, i am still serving under the mts program.

  for a few years until my circumstances changed.

  I can only imagine that a life time of leading a double life can mess with you. To be so intimidated by honesty. The "truth" encourages lies from all angles. Don't be anxious, just bite off a piece of honesty tomorrow and that freedom will take you the rest of the way. It is empowering to step out and allow yourself to be real. It may be painful....but didn't you just have surgery? Pain can bring relief. You need relief and so does your wife. No matter what it brings to your relationship, it is necessary for any quality of life for either of you. You have worked hard to get here. It will be okay. wings

  We All Have Our Stories - We Are All Survivors in Our Own Ways

  in attending the apostafest this weekend in south lake tahoe it became apparent to me that we all held a common bond in getting out of the jehovah's witnesses cult ; and yet many of us made our escape to freedom in different ways !

  some people stopped going to meetings cold turkey, like myself, something just clicks in you after the buildup over years of tension and abuse of justice - just couldn't take it anymore !

  other people do a slow gradual fade , some get dfed, or dissassociate, some even get their families out with them, some are the only members of their family who have exited the cult.

  Hey Mr. Flipper, I miss you already! Yes we are survivors, and I loved our conversations this weekend and learning everyone's stories. Just the simple fact that we could all relate to each other because of the XJW experience. Such a common ground of understanding. Also the deep respect shown to each other for their own personal path of survival. A true testimony of support....at least that was my experience. wings

  they tell you when it's time...and she was telling us.

  the neighbor found her in his yard having a grand mal.

  i adopted her in 2002 from a shelter, shes a sheltie, and she was fine and wonderful and loved us and protected us.
