I've been reading the Book of Jasher and the Book of Jubilees; I can see that Fred Franz relied heavily on these extra biblical works when he "translated" the Hebrew Scriptures.
Also, when he translated Numbers chapter 2, which mentions that the tribes of Israel were grouped according to their ensign or flag, he refused to use the word flag, but stated that they were grouped according to their "division."

i am not a jehovah's witness but i am very interested, i have many questions and hope they can be answered here.. i do believe in god, privately.
i do say my prayers daily and do believe god helps me in countless ways.
but i don't go to any church.. i have always been impressed at how smart, polite and nice jehovah's witnesses are and i always make time to speak to them when they call at my door.

i was just thinking about how humans being imperfect and satan's influence was the root of everything bad that anyone has ever done.
well i know that apparently everyone is vulnerable which got me thinking about what "bad" things people have done while they were a jw.
