Is the Centenary Campaign in August 2014 really for the public?

i was thinking about what i read in a recent kingdom ministry about the historical campaign the jws will engage in this august.. this is not really for the public.. it is to keep the jw's busy, not thinking about why 100 years has gone by with no end in sight, but to buoy up flagging enthusiasm.. they trying to make jws maintain a constant state of tension and expectation..

WT doesn't give a flying scroll about the public; their aim is to keep JW's so busy that no one thinks about questioning.

I remember pushing the Watchtower magazine so hard during 1979 because it was the centennial years of its publication.

The householders all looked at me as if to say, "And ...??? "

How did you find the truth about the truth (TTATT)

i am sure there has been a post about this subject, however being a recent addition to the network i don't know how to do a search.

and i'm sure new folks have joined since then.

i am really curious of how others came to know ttatt.. for me is was a real bad experience with one elder after another.

the ancestors used to refer to this type weather as the easter snap.. it's cold and rainy.. my teenage granddaughter is sullen and hostile.. my little jw daughter is cool and aloof.. i am so happy for this forum.. thanks, people.. sylvia.
