  people who believe that every verse of the bible is inspired are in for a shock.

  according to genesis account, god created heavens and the earthin a one-time act.

  but an experiment conducted at the south pole, two weeks back, has caught ripples in the oldest light in the universe.

  I believe the Flood and the genealogy in Genesis are compatible.

  My nephew got married in July of last year.

  At the reception, JW's and others took to the dance floor doing The Wobble like it was no tomorrow!

  It was a joyous occasion.

  when jws come around with their articles asking "is god cruel?

  ", i often point them to genesis 22:2:.

  2 then god said, take your son, your only son, whom you loveisaacand go to the region of moriah.

  This is my next to last post, so I'll give it a stab.

  God Himself doesn't do the trying, but allows the Evil One to do so.

  I believe the Evil One cannot do anything without God's permission, so it's as though God is doing it.

  was just on the thread about lot and his messed up family life and was reminded of another part of the bible that made me feel physically sick the first time i read it.

  Please don't worry; I'm not preaching any message; I'm not looking for converts, either.
