jer 29:10—how does this verse demonstrate the accuracy of bible prophecy?
the mistranslation of this verse is the basis of the idea that the jews spend 70 years in exile in babylon.
If my research is on point, after the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple, the captivity only lasted for 30+ years.
It used to puzzle me to read how the old men cried after the Temple was rebuilt.
I thought, if they were old enough to appreciate the original Temple, and survived a captivity of 70 years, they must be in their 90's or 100's. How in the world did they manage the trek from Babylon to Jerusalem?

last week we had a reassurance ultrasound with our ob.
she was just supposed to check heartbeats on the two little ones and they were going strong!
but because she had extra time and she can be quite anal about her work (which is a good thing) she decided to take some measurements.

I'd already arranged for someone else to look at it, and I could tell the elder didn't like that.
The man did a good job and charged me hardly anything.

i'm reading a book called "what to do when they knock" that goes over the jw book "what does the bible really teach?".
it points out that the "bible really teach" book, on page 218, makes a bit of a point about there being only one archangel.
it says michael is "the archangel" and emphasizes that "the" means only one.

Anything it takes to point to the magical year of 1914, when the other horsemen supposedly began their ride.
Looking back, it makes absolutely zero sense.

Daniel 10:14 shows that Michael is ONE of the foremost or chief angels, implying there are others.

I don't agree with the WT's teaching that Jesus of Nazareth is Michael the archangel.
