  Mark 5:34, He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."

  What a man! What a God! I knew from reading Scriptures such as these that wherever He is, I want to be there, too. Thank you for asking.

  Yeah, I remember that morning well. I had just dropped my grandkids off at school. It was such a beautiful morning. When I walked into my building, one of the corporals told me the news. That was a day unlike any other I've known at work. Usually the police radio crackles all day with the officers alerting us to their locations.

  But that day there was nothing. Everybody spoke in hushed tones; some left work because the shock was too great. The phone didn't ring at all. We stayed glued to the television. It was so surreal.

  i watched a movie last night called the eye 2. it was about the buddhist belief in reincarnation.

  in the movie, souls wait for women to give birth in order to reincarnate into the baby.

  I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mother in Sep 2005 and a sister in Oct 2006. I believe in the Bible and the teaching of the resurrections, but exactly what happens at death is a question no one can answer. I'm hoping you will be able to find a measure of peace as you deal with your loss in your own way. Peace and love,

  I agree with JCanon that Jesus was referring to the enemy of His Jewish audience. And who was that enemy? The Roman authorities. The parallel account in Matthew bears this out. See Matthew chapters 5, 6, and 7. If at all possible it is better to appease one's enemies than provoke them. And believe you me, as a child of the South, I have done my share of appeasing.

  she said in some parts of the south dog fights are common so we must understand where he's comming from.. well, in some parts of the south people discriminate against african americans.

  She would've felt different if the accuser was a white guy. The majority of blacks still feel O.J. is innocent

  How did I miss this ??? This is one Black person who never felt O. J. was innocent. The circumstantial evidence was too compelling.
