  Some of the most racist people are the light blacks against their more dark brothers.

  True.

  Why?

  It goes the other way, also.

  Two examples: I had the misfortune of being born very light-skinned. My maternal grandma disliked me intensely.

  One of my grandsons is even lighter. His mother had to request that he be transferred to a different class due to his teacher's dislike of him.

  I'm thinking of the little girl whose military parents were stationed in Japan.

  When they moved back home, that little blister was fluent in Japanese.

  Her g'ma discouraged this, claiming the child was cursing her out!

  What if I said something stupid like there are too many black people that work at the department of motor vehicles?

  If you said it in the same context as Graham and Rice, that the hiring process routinely excludes other groups, there would be nothing racist about it.

  Does this make her a racist?

  If it does, then what does that make Bob Graham?

  I remember the switch from WT study conductors.

  The original conductor did such an excellent job that Witnesses would come from a neighboring state for the study.

  Well, his replacement was so boring and inept that attendance dropped by one half.

  It was simply painful to sit through it.
