Turning 60 today (Happy Birthday to me)
by NewYork44M init is my birthday today.
given that i turn 60 today means that i graduated high school in 1975. time flies when you are having fun.. i remember the council i got about not worrying about a career because this wicked system was rapidly coming to a conclusion.
now i am 60 and most of those bastards are dead and the end is still in the future..

The WT explanation is that since Jah ALLOWS the bad spirit to operate, it's as though the spirit proceeds from Him.
However, 1 Kings 22 and 2 Chronicles 18 show an angel volunteering to become a lying spirit in the mouths of Ahab's prophets.

Is it just me or is this weeks CLAM more "cultish" than usual?
by NikL inmaybe it was my mood, but last night the meeting seemed really over the top cultish.. mainly the latter portion that just focused on presentation videos which always seem creepy to me anyway.. then the local needs was pre-empted by a video all about ldc which seemed completely pointless.
(on a side note my wife knew a couple of different people in it).
the congregation "bible" study which dealt with the ever changing cover of the watchtower magazine.
