I started growing facial hair the moment I stopped attending. Now I have a big, full beard, and its truly lovely for midwestern winters, and the sub-zero days. Plus my girlfriend LOVES the "manly" look, I love no shaving, just a trim once a week or so.

Can I forbid my ex to see my son???
by babygirl75 inbefore i start, i know a lot of you will say for me to consult an attorney, but just wanted to see if any of you have had to deal with this..... i have primary custody of my son.
my ex was ordered to pay child support the first of each month.
well i hardly ever see a dime of it unless i call him and have to bitch him out to send the state a payment for child support.

As a child from divorce, that had a BAD MOTHER, and EXCELLENT FATHER, I suggest the following:
1. NEVER, EVER, EVER bad mouth your former partner in front of your child, this will scar your child later in life
2. Take it to court, NEVER "use your child" as a pawn.
3. Why is an out of work man supposed to pay $800/mo in support? c'mon??? You already have a new hubby it says, so perhaps he feels that you are getting wealthy off his "potential" support.???
My mother worked a high paying job, and was only ordered to pay $250/mo. RIDICULOUS!!! My dad was a broke farmer til I was 14, then worked at town, and my step mom worked her butt off at an office. I always had my needs taken care of, but there were a lot of hard times. I got mouthy as a teen and started "demanding" that support be thrown my way... Then I found out it was a pitiful amount and she was always late.
My mom and my grandma (dad's mom) constantly were messing with my head, and trying to play me one against the other. Always fucking with my head. Eventually I got sick of it, and told my dad, and he shut both of them up. He knew that I always loved my mom too, even though she wasn't a very good mother most of my life. Most of the times she was a terrible, awful, pathetic excuse for a mother, but I STILL loved her, and she never trashed my dad in front of me, because she knew I loved him. She would bad mouth dad's family, but never him. My father never participated in any of that garbage.
Please, please, please think VERY HARD about what you say and do around your son, it will stick with him for life. He'll figure out on his own about his father if he's truly as bad as you say. But little boys do need both of their parents, and step-parents are NEVER the same, you crave that biological bond, I always did, and so did my friends.

I got my girlfriend (4 months) a dozen red roses, a white gold heart pendant with a small diamond in it, and I'm making her dessert (chocolate puff pastry) at my place on Thursday night. Friday night we are going to go out to dinner, then come back to my place for chocolate covered strawberries, and then head to bed early.
I finally have someone that I truly love that I want to spoil a bit, she's such a special woman.

South & West side of Chicago during the 50's, excellent place for a blues guitarist. Plus I loved the style of the 50's, the greaser look, the cars, ladies fashions, etc. I'd go bug Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, Otis Rush, Buddy Guy, Magic Sam, etc. every night.

Hey Happy Dad,
Avishai hit it directly on the head, my former wife cheated on me, and wouldn't admit to when it began, so there was always some doubt as to whether I have anything. I've had a whopping 2 partners my whole life, but I'm getting serious with my new girlfriend (talking about our future, etc), who I've known for a long time, and she requested I be tested before we moved any further. So I went in Friday afternoon, I got my AIDS / HIV test results that day, and I was clean. I get the rest of my results today after 4 pm.
Since I was such a low risk, they just made me pee in a cup and take blood, so no cotton swab for me. A couple of the nurses there remarked at how refreshing it was for a young man to not be "humping everything out there". I don't judge those that do, its just too much like Russian Roulette for me.
Always thinking before one speaks is a good idea, but I accept your apology that was very big of you.

She already had her test, totally clean, and was shocked I've never been tested, and even more shocked that I didn't feel the need.
Another of my buddies said that it could be "pee in a cup" too instead of the Q tip.
