here's my take for one of the reasons: jw's perceive anyone who asks the wrong questions as a hater of jehovah and a persecuter.

Good point. This is something I had been thinking about.
This would seem to explain why JWs more usually get defensive when you ask sincere questions about their faith. As soon as they sense that anyone is a potential threat to anything they believe as a JW, it only "proves" to them that they are God's people and they dismiss themselves and go about their merry way.
i just watched it on cnn.
the black anchor man on cnn was discussing it with a black guest and of course they do nothing but support him.
they said he has helped many people, hes been harassed, blah, blah,blah.
Michael Vick, Carmelo Anthony, and other black athletes have been in trouble this year. I happen to like these 2 guys but the race card got brought out both times. PEOPLE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THE REASON WHY THE MEDIA ATTACKS THESE PEOPLE IS NOT BECAUSE OF THEIR COLOR, BUT BECAUSE OF WHAT THEY DID, HOW THEY DID IT, AND MAINLY THEIR POPULARITY.... If Michael Vick was a guy of the bench on special teams it would not have stayed on the news that long because people would lose interest, but do to the fact he was extremely popular the media wouldnt drop it, not because of his color.
This portion of a post you made has to be just about the only thing I agree with you on here BR.
The thing I don't think too highly of is the same as others here....the generalization that it's a race issue just because there were two blacks discussing the OJ situation.
My question is the same as Leolaia's. Would this thread exist of the person's discussing it at that time were of completely different races?

yet i hear that the current understanding is you cannot.. can i bring up an old article to my mother about talking to me or does a new one trump the old??
So there is a 99.9999999999 percent chance that she will completely blow the older article off as "old light".
got to go to the florida v. tennesee game this past saturday.
