  laser surgery

  i just got back from newport beach, where i had laser surgery on my eyes.

  since the 5th grade, i have had to wear glasses.

  each year my eyes have have needed a new prescription for stronger glasses into my 30's.

  Been there, before laser surgery on my eyes I was practically blind. After my first surgery, I could see distance, but not well enough to read street signs very well and certainly not well enough to read lisence plates. I also needed reading glasses after surgery. By the way, they kinda screwed up my first surgery and made me a little far sighted, so I found out what it was like to be far sighted also.

  Now, after my second surgery, I can read lisence plates, sharp and clear. And even though my doctor told me that I would probably need reading glasses, I find that I can read the phone book. So for now, I don't seem to need glasses at all.

  Mustang, after my surgery, I took my daughter and mum on the Balboa cruise to see the rich bastards mansions along the beach. It was fantastic, and one of the houses was listed for sale at $22,000,000.00. Each house was beautiful, and all had a giant yacht parked directly outside, in the bay. One yacht was so huge, it blocked the view of the mansion next door, so the neighbor complained. The guy with the yacht walked over to his complaining neighbor and bought his house from him right then and there. It must be nice.

  I also saw these tiny little boats off in the distance, as we got closer, I realized that they were little 4 and 5 year old little rich bastards, learning how to sail in little custom made sail boats. it really looked hilarious seeing these little bastards leaning over the edge of their little sail boats as they performed turns.

  We should give every black person in the U.S.A. one million dollars.

  Then there would be no more blacks on welfare, every black person would be able to afford a new house, no more innocent black people would be sent to jail for hitting old ladies over their head for crack money, and they would never complain again about needing to get something for nothing, ever again..........right?

  being raised as a witness, i was taught to have nothing to do with worldly people.

  as long as they were not dedicated, baptized worshippers of jehovah, they were considered as wicked ones that would soon be destroyed at armaggedon.

  in school and later, at work, i tried to keep a safe distance from anyone not a witness.

  Hi minimus, I was is and am, bad association. When I was growing up I wanted to be accepted by my peers, I didn't particurally like being the odd J.W. geek.

  I was smart enough to get out when I was 16 years old and all my J.W. relatives would consider me bad association. But funny enough, my daughters are beautiful well adjusted college students, and all my J.W. relatives are uneducated out of wedlock no moral morons, with no future. They are all waiting for grandma to die so they can get their hands on some money, but she's doing her best to hang on 'til armageddon.

  Thanks Big Tex, I must have had LASIK surgery then. The doctor recut my old flap, from the previous surgery and then the laser took over. It was quick and painless. In and out in minutes.

  gsx, I'm not sure about long term, but I was tired of being blind, so I grabbed the bull by the horns(which I can now see).

  Carmel, just don't open your eyes in the part of the pool that feels particularly warm. You'll usually find kids nearby.

  BLUEBLADES, 3 thousand 5 hundred. And I'll have to look up exactly what kind of laser surgery it was.

  Hey Big Tex,

  My first surgery was about 8 months ago in Sactown, and they kinda screwed it up. So I asked my doctor to send my to the guru who does surgery on the stars. So my doc sent me to Dr. Thoma in Newport Beach. Dr. Thoma is the head shmoe, I wanted the head guy, not someone who was taught by him. After all, you only get one set of peepers.

  Hi All,

  I just got back from Newport Beach, where I had laser surgery on my eyes. Since the 5th grade, I have had to wear glasses. Each year my eyes have have needed a new prescription for stronger glasses into my 30's. When I took my glasses off, if I didn't put them exactly in the same place every time, I wouldn't be able to find them, even if they were only a foot in either direction.

  I can now see perfectly, what a miracle!!!! My opthamologist told me that I would need glasses for reading after the surgery, but a week later, I can see sharp and clear far away and I can also read the phone book. I find I don't need glasses at all.

  For those of you that can see, this is no big deal. But for those of you that have been waiting for years to get the surgery we have been hearing about for years, I can tell you, the time is now. This is fantastic.

  Your hair is beautiful Lisa, just like your picture.

  I worked with an openly gay guy a few years ago, when I worked in the paint dept. for P.G.& E.. We got transferred to Diablo Canyon and after a few months, he had to move out of his apartment, so he asked me if he could move in to the spare room in my shack at Pismo Beach. My wife had a fit, she questioned my manhood and was worried about what other people would think.

  I really didn't see what the big deal was, I mean, if I was a bone smuggler, I wouldn't have gotten married in the first place. I didn't care what my wife thought, or what other people thought. A friend needed a place to stay and I was able to help him.

  My arm hurts from patting myself on the back!

  Dinosaurs

  i left after '75 and i haven't touched a bible since, so i'm really not sure as to the answer to this.

  when i was a kid, i seem to remember dinosaurs on the inside cover of my bible.

  am i remembering correctly?

  That explanation is hilarious. It's funny they didn't even rate a mention in the bible.

  I remember as a kid, I used to like to divert my attention, by looking at the neat dinosaurs on the inside of my bible.
