A Change in the Generation teaching, AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

just wondering if anybody else has heard of a change of the generation teaching again and a change in some of the parables, this was heard by a friend of mine from a couple that was entering gilead(puke) and by a c.o.

Ok they look at the amount of anointed dropping or rising, I remember that it had risen on year, there are many I am sure that are nut cases, and some that believe they should take the emblem regardless. I never really have taken notice of this figure, besides what others signs are they looking for, not suppose to look for signs, what are they waiting for two left or even two hundred, noone knows the date time or hour, not even the son. It appears they seem to ignore that.

even down to a personal level they are judgemental of one another, especially since we are told to look out for anyone doing something not right, in whose eyes. But of course any mistakes are put down to imperfection.

A true example, a brother was seen coming out of a pub (early opener) and falling to the ground, two sisters saw this and ran to the elders and told them.

The truth is that the brother was placing magazines on a regular call, and sliped on his way out, he hurt his leg and couldn't get up, it appeared he was drunk. Now this brother has been a long standing pioneer in the congregation, a fine husband and father, doing early witnesses, but straight away they assumed he was drunk at an early opener.

So instead of running over to the brother and seeing if he was alright, they rang the elders and reported what they thought.

Jugemental do you think.

Can You REALLY Have a Platonic Relationship in the Organization?

perhaps this is just a local issue, but i'd like to share this quick experience with you.. i, like i thought any person could have, had a close friend of the opposite sex.

now she and i were good friends before i even entered into a courtship with my ex-fiancee.

at first, she didn't like the idea of me having a female friend, but then she thought about it and said she had no problem with it, as long as certain boundaries were held......fair enough.

Ha ha, hilarious and true in most cases.

I think it is harder in the org with this situation because they are naturally suspicious people, because remember ol satan is around to temp, so they have that in there brain.

Its only normal for youre ex to be a little over awed by this, but when other people (mum) come into the picture and stir the pot, it becomes a barrier to any communication you and youre ex needed to resolve the issue. JW are suspicious busy bodies, and as the time goes by it becames worse not better, because they are told to watch out for this and that, they do the spying for the org, and the elders ask questions of those closest to the person of interest, creates a real happy life doesn't it not.

Does Fading from the Borg Lead to Deceit in Other Walks of Life?

please, please remember i am asking a question, not stating a fact.. .

there appears to be many advantages to fading out of the 'truth' as opposed to a full blown "i don't believe it and i'm out of here regardless of consequences'' policy.. reading others postings and experiences here and my own local experiences i can truly see why many do so.

i remember during the later stages of my still attending meetings talking to a couple who had stopped going to meetings a few years before.

I think the presure that the org puts on families is unrealistic, if you don't believe its the truth and dont' want to attend meetings and give it in, then you more than likely will loose contact with youre family, and what if you are living at home, I understand that one would feel deceitful by pretence, but these unrealistic unscriptual rules pust one in the position that is not normal, just pack up and leave and you pay the consequences.

I'm not condoning deceit but I think you are being way to hard on your self. Think of the position and think of who put the rules on youre decisions. If you are not a criminal or in danger of hurting others, their restrictions hurt others that are innocent so where is the logic in feeling the way you do.

What made you get baptized?

basically, i was forced into it.

believe me, baptism was the last thing i wanted to do.

but i was already in my early twenties, and the rank and file were like why don't you get baptised!

Came out of the world and got baptised after studying for around 6 mths in 1976, back then they were told by the WTS only to study with interested ones for a short time, and if they appeared not to progress to stop the study, baptism was pushed on us back then. But I really believed and was my personal dedication before the baptism.

Noticed though that quiet a few on here are saying baptism was forced or they had the wrong motive for being baptised, I understand why you left then, but how long did you stay in, with not really believing must have been painful.

A valuable lesson. Death is only as potent as it is long. If you died in your sleep for 3 hours on any given night, you wouldn't have missed much living, right? So it's not all about dying, but dying and never coming back. That's what is significant.

He's definitely around, but more directly with the anointed, especially these days since 1947. JCanon

especially with the anointed, thats just to much. Some that claim to be of the anointed have done nothing, what have they suffered, arent' they suppose to die a mayrte's death?

the great crowd and especially women have done much more than the anointed, and what of the many that have lost their lives because of the WTS mistakes, Malawi for one, look at the torture to b/s and kids there, and the anointed were sitting in their tower being feed and looked after making decisions that cost thousands their lives, give me a break.....what about the anointed telling the brothers not to have vaccinations, some objected and were disfellowshiped only to have the rule changed, but in the meantime it bought miser and hardship on thousands of innocent b/s. And Jehovah is especially with the anointed. What sort of justice is that.

When are you going to get it through you're head that is is about the sheep, the annointed are suppose to be servants, Ez 34 and 13. What is with all this crap about God is especially with the anointed, they themselves said in last monthes w/t Qand A that they have no more holy spirit than any other b/s. How is Jehovah with them more then?

It is not about you it is about Jehovah's sheep, Jesus left the 99 and went after the one lost sheep that is how precious the sheep are to Jesus and Jehovah, Christ died for everyone, and he is the mediator between his sheep, not just the 144,000 and nor is the GB mediator or the idol org. There would be no annointed if there were no sheep.

Also, good observation. When you think of the rebel angels, think of them as someone with the philosophy of some "skin heads." Think of them as similar to the white community that came out en masse to protest the first black girl entering an all-white college. If you had so much hatred for someone you considered so beneath you, so unsophisticated and insulting to you, then you might decide you'd rather not live at all. A couple of movies carry that explanation, amazingly, like "Constantine" and the "Prophecy" series, where basically the angels are upset that God created man in his image and ultimately will make some of them, the "Bride Class" who will marry Christ, more glorious beings than the current angels themselves. Certainly that's a consideration.

Satan rebeled before Adam sinned and before well before the bride class was known, so it appears they fell before any knowledge of the bride class, so not sure I would agree with that.

I think Satan was a trickster and not all angels were created at the same time, they would have been created over time, so Satan was probably one of the first and very, very in the know angels, he probably turned his attention to the most vunerable the youngest and immature angels the babes so to speak, like he did with Eve, she was the younger and less knowledgable, same as he attacks children.

So those that left may have been very young and far less knowledgable than Satan, maybe they thought he was hip and cool, who knows, juvenile angels following their mentor idol Satan.

Or the other thing could be that I think it says a third of the stars not angels when it refers to Satan taking them, stars could mean more prominant ones in the heavenly arrangement older ones, but became proud like Satan and wanted what Jesus had or (Michael as some may call him) Jesus being the first born the only begotten son, where all things were made for him and through him, maybe Satan was a jealous brother and wanted what Jesus had, and the others noses were also out of joint. this pride would have taken a long time overtake them to do what they did.

Just maybe there were 144,000 stars that fell and Jehovah want to replace them.

It's like we are just some freaky little science experiment. If any of this crapola is true I think we are on some cosmic back shelf, forgotten and collecting dust.
