i have read of some annecdotal evidence that in a few cases, a disfellowshipping can be reversed.. this has applied in the case of not following the correct procedure and other circumstances.. can anyone provide any links or scans or stories of this happening ?.

At the last district essembley they said about disfellowshiping that the elders do not get it wrong, they don't make mistakes, I nearly chocked a close family relative of mine was wronly disfellowshiped.
now that i'm free to bet, i figured it would be neat to start a pool on when the watchtower is going to change light bulbs on the prophecy about the united nations turning on worldwide religion.
there is no doubt in my mind that this prediction will be dropped.
not only is this the longest-running unchanged prediction in the wt's history (1925 and 1975 had much shorter gestations) it's the last detailed concrete prediction the society has left in its bag of tricks.
I think they won't mention much about the UN it seems to be a no go zone, they used to really give them heaps but has sort of arsed in the corner.
I noticed on the on those leaflets, a faint little mosque tower almost had to get my binoculars to see it, why is that it was about the destruction of BTG not just Christedom.

It is Gods organization and if one listens to what the bible examples give us for our example about the how God has always dealt with his people, you would understand, instead those that left listened to man and put to much credibilty on the men in the wt that let them down, but God never will or has, one must wait as Jehovah allows errors, faith is the key.

The structual arrangement does not conclude that they the JW are the same. The laws of the land have to have certain boards and other exceptable structures to any organization for registration.
The importance of the WTS is to preach Gods Kingdom that is its main objective. And sure they imperfect and sure they have made some very stupid chronological predictions and other things that I do very much disagree with. What to do then run off and not do the work of preaching Gods Kingdom, or wait and see judgement by Jehovah for their lack of direction for his sheep.
Just because some have become corrupt doesn't mean that Jehovah has deserted his people. In fact Jesus fortold this evil slave would infiltrate Gods house. We call it organization today, but it is Gods house.
Jesus foretold that the possibility existed that some of the slaves who had been entrusted with the responsibility of feeding and caring for the sheep would become self-important, "full of themselves" as you put it, "lording it over those who are God's inheritance," even to the point of beating them. whenever i have brought up the subject of who will be saved at armageddon with a jw they always, without exception, deny that it is a teaching/ belief of the wt that everyone but them are going to be destroyed.
there's a very good reason for this of course.

Thank's Thomas for you're response. It was said up until the eighties that ONLY, baptised JW's would be saved, I was out for a bit in the late seventies then came back in the mid eithties and that thought had changed to those that do not object to JW or are studying may be saved it is up to Jehovah.
Then it was JW cannot reach all the peoples so Jehovah will judge their heart attitude.
And yes those that do refuse to accept Christs Kingdom will be destroyed that is right as why would they want to live under man made rule which is Satan conctrolled. As Jesus said to pray for Gods Kingdom to come, why shouldn't any who dont want it be allowed to continue and abuse this earth and live under there own standards this why we have these problems.
So though I agree with youre post to some extend it does not say only JW will be saved does it, like it used to years ago. It is still agrogant of them though.

yes well it was 22 yrs in between time, and a whole lot of new ones have been bought up in the org and others that have come in for the world.
