  Over my years in the truth I was told through the grapevine that I was not allowed to listen to certain songs lest Satan possess me. I was told Annie Lennox was a Satanist based on:

  I talked to the WT Convention PR guy today

  i saw the google link for the assembly in charleston,wv this weekend.

  the newspaper printed a press release about the assembly and there was an invite to the general public to attend the convention.

  at the end of the story was a telephone number to call- so i did!.

  20 years ago (in my teens!

  ) there was a well established rumour that the paisley pattern had demonic origins.

  no brothers in my hall wore ties with that pattern, until a watchtower had a brother wearing a tie with this pattern.. a co said that sisters feet should not seen at the meetings for the sake of decency.

  At a Circuit Assembly brothers were told not to have short back and sides as it was worldly.

  What Stage Are You At Now?

  i was born in the "truth" and reached the dizzy heights of becoming a servant and that attended the ministerial school.

  in the last three years i emotionallly left the "truth" and stopped attending last year.

  however, i am still very confused theologically.

I was wondering what stage of recovery fellow forum followers (fff) were at?

  On scale of 10 fully recovered to 0 completely confused. I am at about 3.
