does anyone know of any good seventh day adventist message boards?
i tried looking i can't seem to find anything...belief.net doesn't seem to have much.... ~fs
I wish to inquire more about their religion not because i want to join or retaliate...or anything but rather be firmilar with it seeing how one of my closest friends is in that religion...so i would like to get a sense of where they're 'comng from' when speaking in regards all that they believe. I really don't HAVE to..but i just want to make sure i understand so there's no misunderstandsings between us. ~FS

aside from all those controvercial topics, what is your favorite lunch menu?
to me it seems like the more time i have ( like day-off or vacation ) the harder it gets to decide what to have for lunch.
any suggestion?

when i was a witness we had a very paroniod congregation.
(true story) in one case we had a bad moment in the congregation and people said we were having demon problems.
thus they figured something was wrong.
oh my god...as i was reading this post...i misread the title that said plant..and thought it was going to be an argument how there might be so many civilizations out ther ein the world today that the demons just so HAPPENED to pick this PLANET (not plant) lol but i read the thing i fell out of my chair..hit my head and almost broke my arm and raised such a weird glance from all the people in the library...oh my god..that's halarious

they were the good old days, in the uk about 10 years ago were able to purchase food tokens to get our lovely hot food supplied at conventions i used to really look forward conventions then,then all of a sudden voila no hot food supplied at assemblys no more i was "gutted" i really missed the currys and sunday veg mmmmmmmmm.
but why did they stop doing it, i think this really upset most having to bring your own grub.they do give free water at them now though

according to "crisis of conscience", the gb didn't have power/control before 1975. the corporation ( the watchtower bible and tract society inc.) had the power, and they were neglecting the people.
after the 1975 commotion, they tried to act like the gb.
so they took over the control.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but i was under the impression that the whole "change" from GB to the watchtower actually happened basically because the GB didn't want to get caught ...when , according to them, the world leaders turn on the 'true religion' so it was like the GB FLEED! when they 'beheld the wolf' coming...because they are NOT the SHEPHERD. Christ is. Christ warned us of this in John 10. Basically the GB gave the sheep for slaughtering. ~ FS
in britian every city has its own accent and local words that people use.. if you worked a council estate in cardiff you were joe-va's witnesses.. a reply on the ministry could be "you joe-vah's witnesses is it?.
i remmember working in shefield and people would call each other "ducky".
what were witnesses called where you live?
