  Resurrection soon after armageddon or 1000 years after it?

  can anyone explain why the wts claims that faithful dubs will be resurrected soon after armageddon when to the contrary the book of revelation plainly states that the resurrection of anyone other than the saints will occur after 1000 years?

  that is 1000 years after the saints begin ruling on earth which will occur at or shortly before armageddon.

  let's remember that rightly or wrongly most dubs do not believe that they are in the class of the saints or anointed as they call them.

  I believe that all descendants of Adam,with the exception of Jesus,were condemned to death when Adam was

  condemned to death; in the day Adam ate the forbidden fruit he was a "dead man walking", which included all of us.

  Ever since then all of mankind were "dead men walking" and nobody has ever,ever, had a chance to live forever.

  The first opportunity for "life",life without death, will only be a possibility AFTER the millenium. Until then,life

  without death in our future is truly an impossability. Death and hades will hound us until after the millenium and

  only then will we really live.

  Just my beliefs people, I don't wish to debate. Thanks.

  This doctrine grew out of the split that occured after JFR took over the WB&TS. At that time, yes all apostates were Evil Slave. The doctrine has not been updated to include non-exanointed JWs.

  I might be wrong here,but I think the WTS changed that thinking (new light) and later stated that there never has been an "evil slave class."

  I don't have any of my old WT publications, so I can't research it, but maybe someone here on this site can research this. I am amazed

  at how well informed the people on this site are. If a person makes a definite statement on this site, others want proof (documentation).

  I hope someone comes forth with some info on this, if you do, thanks.

  I do. I agree with what anewme said and I'll add that the HOPE I have

  is an important part of my being. I am led to understand that some of

  you have no hope for your future other than an eternal dirt nap. If that is so,

  I don't really understand that,yet.

  It's my believe that the best thing this country has going for it is the CONSTITUTION and

  THE BILL OF RIGHTS which are the supreme law of the land,more so than the bible or any

  other document. I hope all political parties,jurists,et. al.,make sure that no one fails to abide

  by the supreme laws and principles MANDATED by these documents. If these documents

  are ever invalidated by a political party or dictator, watch out!

  Good Question. Can anyone here say exactly what price must WE pay to reach "paradise?"

  The evildoer that was hanging by Christs' side at Calvary, that criminal that deserved what he was

  getting, what was exacted (required) of him for him to receive that blessing from Christ,"Verily I say

  unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise?" (Luke 23:43). How many hrs. did he spend in FS?

  How many BS did he conduct with persons of GW? What did he do, what was exacted of him?

  Whatever he did, he (the evildoer) had the answer. IMO.

  Oh yeah, He does love us.

  Putting all the "holy writings" aside, if a god made this planet, wouldn't looking around at this

  planet tell us something of it's creator? But mind you that, if you put your thoughts on the matter

  down in writing, are you not creating a "bible" that others may read,quote, and believe? I do

  believe this planet says much for whoever,or whatever, created it, without relying on something

  some person wrote. If this Creator exists, respect is due. Just my thoughts.

  can't explain this one.. right in the middle of my shift i became disassociative.. my brain locked and i threw my hands up and kept repeating, "i can't do this!

  Terry, so sorry to hear you are going through a troubling time. I hope all turns out well for you.

  A while back, on another thread, you said something to the effect that you had a god-size hole in the

  middle of your being, something like that. Terry, I don't know exactly what you meant by that, only you

  know. That statement says alot about your existence. I think if one is going around with a big "hole" in

  the middle of his being, for whatever reason, one is burdened with a heavy load. Good fortune to you and yours as you

  battle this malady.
