LouBelle, given your stated age it is suprising that you did not know that item of information about men.
We do not come over and move your furniture, or listen to you blather about your pets or former boyfriends, because we find your musings riveting.
We want sex.
Sometimes, once the sex issue is cleared up, we find that you are pretty cool and we like you.
Or not.

Men do...
by LouBelle inthink about whether they would sleep with a friend or not - i know you guys have said that before "that a guy is thinking whether or not he would sleep with a girl friend" well now i know for sure it's true.. my mate - my buddy - the guy i hang out with admitted that he would sleep with me - i was a little stunned and taken off guard - i laughed so hard.
then he proceeded to say he thinks i have romantic feelings for him..... i mean we flirt, but on such a non serious/fun way that it means (to me at least) nothing.
he was so serious - that made me laugh even more.. anyway i had a good laugh..

If you took the heaven or hell quiz you are heading into a database because it is a data mining gimmick. I lied about DOB and ZIP code, but you should note it likely scoops up your IP unless you are using a proxy or anon server.

Did you ever lose patience with unreasonable witnesses?
by Hiddenwindow indid you ever get frustrated due to the inability of a witness friend to reason or be honest about the deficiency of certain wt doctrine?

I start to lose patience when my study conductor turns into a brick. He does this when I walk him through the Bible on a few verses where it clearly says something and he insists it does not say that.
I have even graphed out on paper the time sequence, place and descriptions, and he still gets unteachable about some things. If I had not heard about the phenomenon of mind control I would conclude he was as dumb as a fence post. But he is not, he is a sincere man so I remain patient with him. -

This is a matter in which the JW view on things is true.
Elections are a dog and pony show put on to make many people think they have a say in the outcome of how public matters are run.
Who among you who voted in the last 8 years said to yourself that you want someone in office who would squander the nation's wealth and neglect the infrastructure? Who was it that voted with a desire to live in a political climate that includes increased fear and suspicion?
And yet, that is what you got.
It is systemic. Large media companies control and define who is considered a legitimate candidate. They carefully weed out nearly everyone for national office who would bring meaningful change in favor of the greater public.
I can find no fault with JWs staying home on voting day. -

On steroids and the economy.......................................
by Warlock inupping the inflation dosageby peter schiff, euro pacific capital | february 15, 2008printin perhaps one of biggest ironies to ever to come out of washington, this week congress simultaneously pilloried major league baseball players for using artificial stimulants to pump up their performance while passing legislation to do just that to the national economy.
am i the only one laughing?.
in reality, the current slump in the u.s. economy is simply the come down from years of financial doping in the form of skyrocketing home values and easy credit.

Here is the reasoning.
America has been on a binge of easy credit and rampant spending, which has caused a time of reckoning to adjust for these excesses. So the answer, in the form of the stimulus package, is to run up the national credit card another $600 for everyone. Since it will be borrowed money, then the taxpayers will have to eventually pay it back with interest.
This sounds like an addict trying to score one more fix instead of going into detox. -

In any given year there are 3 or 4 people present that are not in their native time. Most are from the past, and by nature do not draw attention to themselves.
Early on I asked my study conductor about the multiverse, because I reasoned if someone knew so much about the Bible, and especially about Jesus, they could speak authoritatively about the multiverse. He looked at me like he did not have a clue about such things. It dawned on me that the WT did not have much of a clue about spiritual unseen things. -

Years ago I was living in North Carolina, near the Virginia state line. On occasion when I would go further south near Atlanta I noticed that women would be hotter as I went further south. It was not just looks, but it was attitude. In Atlanta things would happen like a woman pat my ass and say she really like a good cut of beef. Then they would also follow through with it, not just idle talk! I really liked it, as I despise someone who is ambiguous about affection or who talks smack with no action. So I give southern women an A++ rating based on my experiences.
Then I went further south and discovered Mexican women..... -

A retailer carries merchandise that will move off the shelf. That is the primary motive for stocking anything. Product that collects dust or is never asked for is unlikely to be stocked. It is business, plain and simple.

I have obtained a book called Questions Young People Ask, published in 1989.
There are many topics that could be issues to someone who is a preteen or teen, or even older. I have not read it very much, although one thing caught my eye.
There is a chapter on masturbation. This was interesting to me because I have practiced that activity. Practice? Well maybe I am good at it. Anyway, when I was about 14 I came into possession of a church tract (not WT) about the subject, and it was lean on Biblical references so an argument was made that since everyone has both male and female hormones that masturbation involves the male part of oneself seducing the female part, or vice versa. Looking back about 30 years I can see it was a hollow reach to induce guilt in people who might be engaged in a relatively harmless natural activity.
Now, as to this WT book, it starts out with the chapter title: Masturbation - How Serious Is It?
So it starts out with the premise that it is serious and the only question is how much it is serious. It starts out citing medical fallacies and myths about the practice, then half heartedly (not honest-hearted) dismisses the most absurd of these. Then it goes on to be critical of the practice and portays every participant in a negative light in that they have a problem because of it.
At one point we get a sub heading: What Does the Bible Say? The answer? Nothing. This is no restraint for the inspired writer as they go on to denounce the practice as unclean, mentally and emotionally defiling and a sign of spiritual weakness. From a matter in which the Bible is silent, the writer proceeds to build a guilt inducing mindset about the practice and to dispense advice on several methods to fight the urge to masturbate.
I can not say I was amazed, as I understand that Catholics and Mormons also have crafted a similar method to manipulate and control their young followers with shame and guilt for engaging in a normal developmental process of sexual growth. People who write this garbage are child abusers. If there were not such a strong constitutional protection of religion, these people could easily be called to account legally for damaging children every bit as much as drug dealers and pedophiles.
I do not know of any so called new light from the tower so I must suppose that this is current policy and doctrine. Any organization that produces this sewage is an abomination and works evil. It is easy to see why someone brought up with this doctrine would be sexually and emotionally stunted. There is a very real possibility that it would cause one to have a lifetime of failure in dating and marriage relationships. -

What does Jehovah do?
by LouBelle inokay this is for current jws' - if there are lurkers, or for those that may not neccessarily believe in jehovah but believe that him and jesus are 2 different spirits.. we have jesus - creating the world and everything in it, then he's on earth healing, preaching.
he dies, gets resurrected and goes back to heaven.
throws satan and his demons outta heaven in 1914, rules the kingdom, checking sure that everything is going smoothly........ what is jehovah doing?

Well Jehovah makes quakes and storms, causes all kinds of disasters. That's his job, really. He is a part timer because he needs all kinds of rest. While Jesus, as the master workman, built everything, the entire cosmos, Jehovah had to rest up for an eon just for supervising the whole project. (Gen. 1)
It wore poor old Jehovah out watching that young whippersnapper Jesus going to and fro, schlepping universal building materials around. By the end of the week, the big Jah was in a snooze. But comes payday, who do you think gets the credit? Who horns in and demands most of the worship and praise? Is that thunder I hear, or just more snoring?
To summarize, Jesus stacked up all the bricks and put everything in order, and Jehovah occasionally awakens from his slumber and smacks something down.
This I know, for the Bible tells me so.
