again it ran in the sunday edition - i hope that a few people might be 'forewarned' and thus 'forearmed' against the jw religion.

perhaps a jw or two will read it also- here was the letter:.

my parents have a bunch of photos from it....i'll have to see if they're still around.

assemblies didn't get good until i could sit with my friends, scope out the ladies and leave with phone numbers and reeking of pheromones.

his last book, i believe...can't remember the title off hand, was a great book of essays...oh, 'man without a country'.

i was at the sunday meeting today (i know, i know...) and i heard this one guy give a comment about how hollywood movies always portray rich people as happy and successful, so that's proof that satan controls the film industry because it's a lie.. .

i struggled to think of one recent hollywood film that portrayed anyone as being happy, let alone rich and happy.

if they made a movie like this guy was describing, it wouldn't sell.

man, i wish i was one of those people who recorded whole assemblies when i was "in"...there'd be so much actual footage of the double-speak.

maybe it's time to start a project digitizing what people here have on tape and uploading it to archive.org?

it was of that girl pretending to be sad, and they have her on the wt magazine cover.

seeing the baptisms made me sad b/c that was one of the stupidest things i ever did in my life....but i was only 16 and pretty much had no choice.

Marriage for citizenship?

chatting with my hubby, he made yet another comment that made my blood boil.

he was explaining that his parents are going to mexico for the wedding of a family friend.

my hubby said he was like a brother to him, but coulnd't remember his name for a second (sad).

i had planned to marry an italian or french girl for convenience in order to get dual citizenship...then this damn thing called love smacked me upside the head, so my plan failed miserably.....but for the better since love ain't a bad reason to get married to someone.

Growing a Beard.

so, why is it that we (xy chromosomes) feel obligated to grow beards once we leave the org?

i've had a little 'chin' beard for about the last 8 years, but every year in november i try to grow the whole thing out... but inevitably i fail miserably.

maybe my facial follicles are still jws.

wasn't there some jesus dude who got pissed off at the religious leaders of his day b/c they forced idiotic traditions like washing up to the elbows before eating, etc. if the bible is true, then the wtbts is more aligned with who jesus was fighting against during the first century. jesus would definitely be labeled an apostate if he as a jw.
