My daughter is in the hospital .......... it's kind of weird not to pray
by AWAKE&WATCHING inmy daughter shannon is 20 weeks pregnant.
the placenta is pulling loose and she has some bleeding.
the doc seems confidant that both she and the baby will be fine.she found out this week that it is a boy.

Can I please be the first to say...

here is a link to his story, http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/150796/1.ashx one of the most heart wrenching i have heard in my entire life.. jwd has his birthday showing as today, january 20th, however it is really tuesday, january 22nd.
also, for those who have read his thread (and if you havent, i highly encourage that you do) his sister's birthday is monday, january 21st...tomorrow!

Agree with most of you. Biggest concern is the way some are doubting newbies within their first few posts!

If we aren't pleasant to new ones, they are likely to feel that the borg is right about worldly peeps, internet sites etc. I disagree with your statement. I guess by thinking back to when you first were exiting this cult how you felt emotionally, how hard was it? Usually it takes a lot of courage to make your first post on this site. Lets be nice to newbies and not knock them back down while they are weak.

I agree newbies come to this site usually going through a very hard time emotionally. The last thing they need is to feel not welcomed. Perhaps if some stopped assuming/judging this place would be a better place. I am sorry but this makes me mad. Shouldn't we be encouraging and showing care to new ones during their difficult time. Good on you Gran for bringing this up.
