i hear it constantly, but i have no idea exactly what it's supposed to mean.
so if one of your relatives dies, and you pray for help: unless you die, or have a nervous breakdown you got through it, correct?

Its best ethical teachings are as good as the best ethical teachings from other religious traditions and from the writings of prominent figures of freethought. Teachings such as these, from whatever source, are what I would expect a book written by a benevolent god to look like. Were the entire Bible written in this way, one of the major roadblocks to my believing in it would be removed.

And for all of those believers who couldn't handle life any longer and choose to take their life, where was god when they needed him most?
Little children who have no malice or bad intentions, and God provides no answer or reply when they pray...

Three Sisters Came by the house yesterday
by purplesofa ini saw a car pull up in the driveway.
i was at my computer trying to order some tickets from ticketmaster, having a hard time with some details.. then i saw one sister, two then three get out of the car......up to my door.. i had a towel on my head (just got done coloring my hair) new clothes pulled out in the living room for my grand daughter, she was laid out of the sofa watching hannah montana.........i looked like hell.
they, of course, all dressed up.. it was around two, and i figure they had been out in service and was finishing up their time.

Reveal something you hate about your town
by JH inhere, they decided to pick up the trash only once every 2 weeks from now on in the winter time......gee, years ago, they picked it up twice a week... .
just the rats will enjoy this....

clumsy clipsy day
by eclipse ini got new glasses last week, and started wearing them today...i have only worn contacts for the last 15 years.
well.......this morning.
it was like i had no legs, or no feet as i was walking down my outside shallow steps to my vehicle, .

I got new glasses last week, and started wearing them today...I have only worn contacts for the last 15 years.
Well.......This morning. It was like I had no legs, or no feet as I was walking down my outside shallow steps to my vehicle,
all of a sudden as I was on the ground, and skinned my knee and my palms on the driveway...ouchy.
Then just a few minutes ago, as I was walking down the stairs, I stepped down and rolled my foot and twisted my ankle (it's ok, not serious) and almost fell down the stairs from being off-balance.
I felt like I was 10 years old again.
I took them off and put my contacts back in and I can see normally now...lol
