  Why don't apologists talk to each other?

  in the time i've been reading these forums i've seen a few apologists posting on threads, but what i've never seen was them interacting with each other.

  is it the same person with multiple logins, or is there some sort of code of honor that prevents them from agreeing with each other.

  heard a rumour that the society is working on an 'anti-apostate' software programme for jw's to purchase thru the congregation and instal on their home pc's to block access to apostate websites.

  it will be based on standard anti-porn software and on the 500 most commonly used words on apostate websites.

  last week i received a home visit from a couple of elders because they were concerned about my spirituality.

  and lack of progress.

  I think knowing what day the world was to end was not for us to know, because how can we show love if we know what day it is,because then we would do what ever we want for a while and then when the day came near we would chang our ways and do what he wants us to do.It makes to me that we should not know what day he is to end this world and bring on a new one,That way we can always be prepared.I cant change the way I feel about that.You know a thief would never tell you when he is going to rob you because then he wouldnt be able to.How can we prove loyalty to him if we knew.

  i'm not sure if this has ever been brought up before (probably has) but something just occurred to me...why were there always dubs guarding the donation boxes outside out of the conventions (in the hallways.)?

  i mean i know the obvious reason behind it...very north korea-esque if you ask me, but we were told over and over just how special and christian and different we were from the world.... i'm looking for your theories on this.

  eclipse we should try and focus on what is being teach to us rather than someone elses wrong doing, you know how easily we can fall away from the truth

  right Ariana. I am going to focus really hard on the lies truth and the hypocrisynew light, letting my brain go to mushbecome the property of the WatchTower Society, because I am not allowed to use it unless I am thinking ONLY about the Society's teachings. Been there, brainwashed-Ariana, done that, NO THANKS. Wake up woman. Seriously. I have never met a more brainwashed JW than you, and I feel sorry for you and your 4 children.

  So they staunchly directed the brothers that blood transfusions were against God's law. Deserving of death.

  So many many babies, children and brothers and sisters DIED for this law.

  So this law WAS important to uphold, was it not?

  I mean, if you would DIE for something, nothing else could be considered more important.

  Now that is changed. How is accepting blood fractions abstaining from blood? It's not.

  I think it is great progress medically, but scripturally, it is going against their previous commandment.

  Also with the UN involvement, the Society said outright that Christendom is a WHORE who rides the WILD BEAST, and that CHRISTENDOM would be devoured by this WILDBEAST, and you claim that they are teaching the truth, so therefore, Christendom must be a whore riding the UN,

  and here they (the Society) were, RIDING it along side with all the other religious organizations for 10 years.

  That is the height of HYPOCRISY & LIES.

  They lied about being no part of the UN.

  They lied about being a NGO member in order to need a library pass, this is NOT true, membership is NOT a requirement.

  How can we trust a LYING, HYPOCRITICAL, MAN-RUN ORGANIZATION?

  And they have the audicty to disfellowship those who have YMCA memberships. PHARISEES.

  Don't even get me started about Malawi and Mexico.

  SCOTTSMAN, Explain how The Society could possibly be sanctioned by Jesus and Jehovah!??

  I wonder what would scottsman say if he saw the actual amount of money that Brooklyn Watch Tower Bible and Magazine Printing Company makes per year....

  and if they add up all their assests in properties and land, it amounts to the BILLIONS of dollars....

  We have all been there Scottsman, defending the organization.

  Until we take off the Society's blinders, start seeing their through deceptions by thinking for ourselves,

  instead of just PARROTING what the Society tells us to think and to believe.

  Many will miss meetings and go away for leisure time at weekends etc, Many youngsters having sex and leading double lives

  That's what I saw alot of when I was a dub in the '90's...

  But I saw the other side too, depression , oppression, neglect, sadness, fake smiles, fake handshakes, fake love and greetings, fake, fake, fake, stepford wives is right, ROBOTS R US.

  Today's witnoids? some are brainwashed, some are relaxed and fading, some are diehard hammer-heads ready to come down on anyone not toting the line, and ready to turn in anyone who doesn't fit the JW mold.

  Many are black and white thinkers, who think exactly what the slave tells them to think.

  just curious if any other xjw's carry concealed weapons on a regular basis ?

  because of my work (job that pays the bills) and my business (will pay the bills somday) i got into the habit shortly after leaving the dubs.

  now i am a solid supporter of a law abiding, qualified citizen's right to legally carry.

  having been in the organization for 30 years, after i got out i reflected on this.

  as a teenager i was told to not let my hair grow over my ears because i might stumble other young ones in the congregation.

  also, in order to carry the microphones i was told i couldn't wear white socks, had to wear black or dark blue socks.
