Well I'm Out!!!!

it took a long time, but i can finally say i'm out and i took my family with me.. this is my first post but i have been reading here for a while.

i was brought up a witness, in a family that was very 'strong' (or so everyone thought).

i didnt have a relationship with my perents at all other than the 'family study'.

Lucky Charms

as i read jwd today am i eating a bowl of lucky charms cereal.

it's good gereal, given the fact that the first time i ate lucky charms cereal i was in my 30's.

as i eat it i feel like a bit of a rebel.

So I was thinking about the earthquake we had last week...

and i was thinking about my reaction to it.

i woke up at 4:40 in the morning because the bed was shaking and the thought process in my head went along these lines, "the bed is shaking.

mike is out of town.

I've experienced an earthquake twice. The first time was in 1981 in Ohio. I was lying down taking a nap trying to recover a little from my newborn keeping me awake half the night. My bed started shaking and I bolted upright afraid to move convinced the demons were after me, thinking about "The Exorcist", saying Jehovah's name out loud, hoping that magic spell worked, wondering if my husband and children were back from my in-laws, wanting to scream, watching things shake on the walls, having an internal melt-down, praying for Jehovah to scare those demons away, holding my breath and freaking the hell out. When it stopped I was relieved to hear the neighbors through the window saying "Did you feel that?" Then I felt like a fool. Looking back I realize I was a fool.

Book Study "provision from Jehovah" quotes KM, so why cancelled by GB?

you will notice that in both these km articles they say the cbs is "a loving arrangement from jehovah".

if that is the case it begs the question: .

what right have they to stop it?

Good work!!! I personally see it as more of a control measure. For one thing that is the meeting that is skipped the most. Also harder for the sheep to put there own thoughts in at a larger setting. The time limits any personal thoughts coming out as well. Just quote from the paragraph, it's all been done for you, no need to think.

and she told me that was absolutly not the case.

she laughed and said that would never happen - that they needed it and that where ever i had gotten my infomation from was absolutly wrong and that i could tell them so.

she then told me that the public talk had been shortened - and i said that i had heard that it was 15 minutes shorter - the fact that i knew that kinda threw her.. but the book study would never go.

LOL - I asked my soon to be ex-husband when the new arrangement started, of course knowing he knew nothing of it. He was puzzled, said he hadn't heard anything about it. Then he saw my Christmas tree (yes - it's still up, I can't help myself...it's just so damn pretty) and mumble d that Christmas has been over for awhile. It was nice of him to drop off some of my things.
