I lived in Ogden for a couple of years. I really hated going out in service there. The Mormons were either sickeningly sweet or arrogant asses (kinda like JW's) and I didn't care for either. An older sister befriended me that had been raised in a polygamist family which I found fascinating.

This was back in the '80's and it was the only time I ever saw "NO JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES" signs on doors.

Charley Horse and Ninja Woke Me Up ...

i jumped out of bed 15 minutes ago doing the charley horse stomp and remembered that i forgot to thank ninja, our wee slip of a lad, for his beautiful fogscape.

so there ... i'm not hijacking my own thread cuz it's in the title.

oh, has the above ever happened to you (minus the ninja-fog part)?.

I was told it was a lack of potassium that causes the cramps. I hardly ever have this happen anymore since I started eating bananas on an almost daily basis. I also drink a lot of water.

it is claimed and believed among members that jehovahs witnesses observe the exact same ceremony that is more widely known as the lords supper among christians.

I showed this and other racial bullshit to my now ex when I first learned of it. He is black and I am white. He said that "back in those days EVERYONE thought blacks were inferior, not just JW's."

My reply was "EVEN GOD????? They are supposed to speak for God! Was he a racist too in the 30's (or whenever it was)?"
