i would love to know if i have any old friends in this forum from my old area i used to live at, it was in the northern utah district, we had our district conventions at the dee events center at weber state university.

i used to be in a lot of dramas a long time ago, until i fell on my head and damaged my brain i lost a big chunk of it on my right frontal lobe and temporal tip, it left me quite fubar at times.

i had so many seizures during the meetings that the seizures were literally killing me, so i stopped going besides being embarrassed by them, i still read the magazines from time to time.. i do my own research sometimes, and yes i know they frown on reading anything that is not printed by them (weird).. oh and don't worry, i am not going to report you to elders for being in this fourm, i have no agenda i just a want a few friends.. .

Has anyone ever been to the Dee Events Center Utah convention?

I was there in '81, '82 and '83. I lived on Kershaw Dr. about 5 minutes away. I loved to go to Marie Callendar's for lunch.

I miss Utah, it's beautiful, my mom is there visiting right now.

Service was a trip, Jw's talking to Mormons.

If Your Spouse Told The Elders On U, Is That a Marital or Religious Problem

if a faithful devout jw saw her husband on a board like this or reading "apostate" literature, if she was so disturbed by her husband's actions and the husband justified himself, would you think that if she told the elders because she was truly concerned that her mate was going to leave "the truth" and ultimately not make it into the "new system", --------that this was simply a marital issue-----not a religious one?.

O.K., I'm going to risk it and tell my story.

I was very upset that my husband was going out EVERY week-end night until 2:30 - 4:00am. He is not baptized but he's in the school and has a Bible study with a young boy. l was not just upset that he was no longer spending time with me, I was devastated because I felt he was leading a double life and was hypocritical.

After 8 months of it- long months, I told him that it bothered my conscience. I asked him if he would talk to the elders. He told me that he would not but he didn't have a problem with me talking to them if I had a problem with it. So I did.

Flash forward 11 months. I went to my husband who was still doing the exact same things and apologized. I told him that my loyalty should have been to him, not the organization and that I had been too brainwashed to realize it. That's when I told him that I no longer cared if he gave talks and hung out in bars because I no longer believed that the JW's represent Jehovah anyway.

He didn't seem to have a problem with me talking to them but I still feel like crap. To me it was a loyalty issue and I should have been loyal to my husband. Live and learn.

we were able to sneak up to mt rainier national park on fri before the labor day masses came up.

i wanted to explore the far northeast area of the park and check out the mineral hot springs.

what you dream must be manufactured by some part of you, let us call it the generator of dreams, prior to the part of you that witnesses can witness it, which seems a necessity since there is no conscious awareness of it be manufactured by the part of you which watches it.. in many cases you are very much suprized by what you dream and how it unfolds.

yet its conceded by most that you yourself are the source of both, the dream and the dreamer..... what exactly would god be if take away all the religious a$$ kissing and sucking up?

the ultimate reality that became aware...and since there was nothing but god to be aware of.... dreaming of something gods true nature could dream up... a universe of possibilities.. you have never known a moment when you did not exist.. you have always been in the center of the only universe you know.. as far as you can tell, everything you know is your own mind's interpretation of reality...and you are reality.. .
